Just called them 5 mins ago. He said that he just got some in and that mine will be shipping out today and I that I should get it Monday. Lets see how good they do after a month or so of me ordering the stuff.

Heed warning, if they don't have it ready to be shipped out the day you order it don't order it!!! I got everything else pretty fast but what wasn't there when I ordered took a good month so far.

Talking Big Thanks to Shiv from VISHNU!

Just wanted to Thank you Shiv, for the great weekend and all of the hard work you put in on Friday and on the dyno on Saturday.

Shiv is truly the master of Engine Management. He really knows his stuff and I learned a lot.

I think it went well even thaw it snowed on Friday but hey at least we have AWD.

My Best

Why are you dissin' the TurboXS turbo-back exhaust?

I know your an installer for Vishnu - but are you talking down the product because it is truely a piece of crap - OR because of your alligence to Shiv.

Not trying to start a battle - just curious about your remarks.

for the fuel curves and mapping that he's running.. the TXS is probably the bottle neck now for more power for eric.

that's why.

I'm not keen on it personally either, but for other reasons.

,

Dude, I’m the first guy to close my eyes and pick a product that makes the most power with out any reservations. Let be TXS, VISHNU or any other company.

TXS TB fits great and does make more power then the stock one but not like a true 3in with high flow Cat. I just took down my Helix/HKS 3in in favor for a TXS until and felt a big power loss. And lost about 13 to 15 hp at the wheels because of it. That's why it's junk in my mind.

My Allegiance to Shiv is there but this is my none bias opinion.

My Best
Eric

I believe Shiv is leaving tomorrow.

Big thanks to Eric and Alex for setting everything up!! An even bigger thanks to Shiv for an awesome road tune. I love the way the car responds now. Totally impressed by his tuning skills. I couldn't be happier!!

Eric,

Thanks for the reply. I was just curious as to your remarks. I'm going to start my mod process soon and I've always heard good things about the TXS TB exhaust.

If someone was to go with a set-up like Shiv's Stage 1 - would the TXS TB be OK? I like the sound it produces.

Can you give any input on the sound of Shiv's TB exhaust. I want something that puts down power without sounding to ricey.

Any input would be appreciated.

Get Shiv's none Sig. Sounds great.. and has a high flow cat. Not ricey at all. But TXS would be ok. Not ideal thew.

can you explain to me the differences between the ECUTEK and XEDE? I've noted how smooth and reliable people are saying the ECUTEK is, but doesn't the XEDE deliver something similar? Maybe I'm misunderstanding what the XEDE is supposed to be, but the plug and play capability is really appealing to me.

you have any insight on what the XEDE differences are compared to the ECUTEK?

I also want to thank Shiv and the other 9 guys who braved the snow on Friday and then the hardcore tuning session on Saturday. I got out of there quite earlier than a lot of you guys did, but I know that everyone was very satisfied with the final results of their individual car. Those of us that were there saw exactly how talented and meticulous of a tuner Shiv really is. (no hype whatsoever)

On the TXS downpipe issue, I'll simply say that IMO there are better options.

[patiently waiting] I recently ordered from them... Right at my expected date. Have been emailing them (twice so far) - no response yet..

My current apprehension is based upon the above posts.

I dont mind too much if someone tells me upfront that it will be a long wait - at least I can prepare for it. Tell me when it will ship/arrive at my door, then make damn sure that happens (whether it is 7-10 days as advertised, or one month later). Then tell me when it HAS shipped. But if I am going to spend ~$1500 of my HARD EARNED CASH on their product, I am entitled to know what the hell is going on. I understand how business is, things can be harrowing when you have a lot of fingers in a lot of pies; however, I know one thing for sure - the fastest way to lose clients is to not return their correspondance, whether it be by telephone, email, whatever - regardless of the quality of the product.

I expect and deserve superb service, everyone does, regardless of whether they are buying a $0.99 sticker or a "signature turboback exhaust". No one deserves to be ignored or given the run-around. I do not think that internet vendors or automotive tuners are excepted from providing superb service. I am in business, albeit not automotive, and if I told my client that their product would ship Monday, then they did not get it until 4 months later - suffice it to say, I would be in business very long.

I am convinced of the quality of Vishnu's product and of their tuning expertise. The service..........I will update and praise or flame to holy hell commensurate with their actions.

call them. they only have like one phone line but you can imagine that they get TONS of emails and with only 3 or 4 people working in the shop, their time to parse through all the emails sometimes takes a while. but if you call them, you'll get answers quicker and maybe they can tell you why it's taking longer than expected or maybe it was an oversight. who knows? call.

let us know how it goes.
