sup guys...i have the opportunity to get a TurboXS turboback with a catted DP + a k&n typhoon intake for $500. Which of the 3 OTS maps from AP should i go with, stage 2, stage 2 cobb sf, or stage 2 aem?

I am reading that the regular stage 2 map should be fine because the pipe diameter and MAF location on the typhoon is identical to stock.

You think I should use the Typhoon and run the OTS Stage 2 SF or just bail on the intake all together and just stick to the base stage 2 map without an intake.

Hey guys....for those that know the type of schedule i'm on, i was wondering if anyone could help me out this weekend. I really need to get my oil changed but don't have any and cannot get any until at least saturday afternoon.

Is there anyone/anywhere in northern delaware I could go to for a good oil change either without an appointment or a member that could do it for me it would be grealy appreciated.

I rather not go to a jiffy lube with the wrx.

I should have also mentioned I could do it any time Sunday if a member is willing to help me out. Otherwise I am guessing it would have to get done on a Saturday at any business location.

Thanks guys

I'm not going to do it for you but I'll let you use my driveway and jack + stands if that's all you need. I'm out of town Saturday but should be around Sunday (just don't come while I'm trying to watch the Euro soccer game).

I'd also offer to help you too, Dave, but I'm stuck in lower Delaware. And the place where I would have you go that's not in northern Delaware is still in Smyrna, and I think the lift might be taken up this weekend.

i'd take your offer but i don't know where to buy oil let alone how to change it. Unless someone has the heart to show me I think i might be going to J-Tune (hello $100+ oil change and tire rotation)

I actually get my oil (Motul) and filter (Purolator) from Amazon if you can believe that. Also I'll admit I pay a shop to do my changes since they only charge me $16 for labor.

I've never changed the oil on an STi before but I imagine you pull the oil plug, drain the oil, pull the filter, put a bead of oil around the new filter, put it on, put drain plug back in, fill with oil, drink a beer.

We can give it a whirl if you want and with Amazon shipping your oil will arrive by the weekend. Assuming you don't need to get your tires balanced but just rotated front/back and left/right we can def do that.

Ur car is new and dont need a new crush washer yet. Just check, make sure it looks ok. Oil change should be a breeze. I use Mobile 1 full syntetic. U can find the cheapest at Walmart. just buy the 5 qt jug. N oil filter I use mobile 1 but puralator is good too. U can get that at auto zone or Pep boys. Hope this helps

The biggest difference is the splash guard you "should" remove first. you could change the oil without removing it, but it would probably get oil all over it when you took off the filter.
other than that added step, you got it on the nose

I can't make it there now tonight. I have a crazy day at work followed by having to meet my mom for something important.
