Default Ordered my ROTA's yesterday

Just ordered a set of Rota Downshifts in royal black with polished lip for my 01 RS
They said it would be 1 to 2 weeks to get them, i will try to post some pics when i get them on. After reading some of the other posts though, i am getting worried. I was running some motegis on my car last year with a 40 offset with no problem other than them stickin out past the fender a little. When i decided to get another set of wheels i must have looked at like 40 wheels trying to find something i liked that had the right offset for subaru. Everybody kept telling me that i needed a +48 or higher offset, so i kept looking till i found some in that offset. Now i read posts about people with rotas with that offset rubbing, whats up with that, i thought that was the perfect offset for our cars. I never had rubbing with the motegis. I will be running Falken Ziex 512's in 215/45/17's on the Rotas. Am i going to have to worry about rubbing?, the car is stock height right now but i was planning on lowering it in the future.

Dave

I have Rota Tarmacs. You shouldn't have any rubbing issues at stock height. However when you lower the car you may have rubbing issues. I had some rubbing when the rubber fender gaurd was ther but when it is off there is no rubbing. However I am going to roll the fender because I think they will rub when I have passengers in the back.
