Mobil 1 5,000 miles. A 5,000 mile sample sent to Blackstone for an analysis. The lab said very good and try 7,000 mile OCI next time. I think Mobil 1 5w or 10w30 will easly go to 8-10,000 miles with a PureOne or oem oil filter.

Change it whenever you want. If it makes you feel better to change it more often, do it. I probably change it every 3-4k miles. Not because it needs it but, because my subconscience feels better when I do.

I'm running my 7.5k miles along with an oil analysis to make sure the oil is OK. I ran some 0W40 M1 extended performance for that time and the oil was still good for more miles.

If you want to know how long you can go, just get an oil analysis, it's only $20-30!

Why don't you just change your oil for how much that stuff cost. $30 to change mine with Mobil 1 every 3k.

We change ours 3 times a year irregardless of mileage since most of our driving is daily short city type driving.

I go 7000 miles between changes using Mobil 1 10w-30 (summers) and 5w-30 (winters) on OEM filter. According to my used oil analysis, everything is good and in fact, they suggest that I can run it even longer.

Totally depends on what type of driving you mostly do, and what type of oil you run. If its mostly short city runs and dino oil, 3750 at most. If mostly highway and synthetic, you can go to 7500. Note that Subaru does NOT recommend going past the change intervals in the manual even with synthetic.

M1 5w-30 full synthetic and OEM filter every 4000-5000 miles. I just sent my oil in to blackstone to get it checked out.
