The brake upgrade is way better. Stopping is more crisp.
As for the A/F. It is lean and the car got too hot to keep making pulls. Next week I'm going back with the tuner |

Ha ha, slow grey you noticed this one too, Im hoping I would put down a lil more on this guy's dyno since I have the TGV delete, everything else is the same. Car is running good. I like what OP has done with his brakes, you start noticing the importance of that middle pedal when you start making a but more power!

^--Side track You know, I was doing the TGV delete on my car... pulled off the intake manifold and all that other crap as I was going to mail them to GrimmSpeed to be ported. But then when I actually held the things in my hands and saw how small the passages are, I can't believe that deleting TGV's would yield more than 3-4whp. Not worth the money or the trouble for the gains to be had. I'd love to be proven wrong however!! More gains to had however if you delete all of your cats. |

Unless the tires and wheels (width to allow for thicker tires) are upgraded, probably not. At maximum braking the 09 is still limited by tire traction when braking and not brakes. For non limit braking (just driving around town), the upgraded brakes might show an improvement per unit press/force on the the pedal. Fade is likely improved with the 4 pots, but more related to the improved pads that tend to come for the 4 pots. However, on stock rotors/calps you can remedy this with better pads (albeit noisy/dusty pads, but hey, it's a performance upgrade, there are drawbacks). Braking distance specs are better on the 08+ than the 06-07 despite the fact the 3Gs are heavier and have floating 2 pots in the front and 1 pots rear. One of the first upgrades I had in mind was doing the 06/07 4pot/2pot till I realized the stock brakes are good enough. Plus I didn't want to jump to ESP in autox (BSP in about a week). I'll need a lot more tire before my brakes become a concern in autox . |

Did you not like the brakes? More recent pics you posted with more mods show you have the stock brakes back on.

When you add the top mount don't you run out of fuel with the stock injectors to really take advantage of it ? Just wondering cause I was thinking of adding one to my 09 and I see the op has one.
