It's basically an Enzo underneath. The cars VIN is actually still the VIN from the Enzo in which is was derived.

Segment from Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari...by_Pininfarina

CLIFF NOTES:
Basically the grandson of Ferrari approached an avid car collector and Stock Market Guru James Glickenhaus and asked him if he wanted to commission a one-off Ferrari.

They took an Enzo changed the body and made it 600 lbs lighter. Car cost $4 million...Interesting read.

@bug- you should move in!! Closer to work, closer to school, closer to efi... whats other reasons do you need?? even give you a special discount for the year ... yeaaa I was bored last night and went a lil crazy posting... not to mention they're the only pics of my car using a "real camera"...

^^ well he probably threw in about that much in mods: Airbags, wheels/tires and installation.....oh well, maybe he will find someone foolish enough to purchase it.

Links to FS advert?

Bug_sti, talked to my pops and he agreed to store my tools...so heres the deal. The exhaust is yours for free if you move my tools from my friends house in Danbury to my dads house in Redding. The exhaust and tools are located at the same location. My friend is moving to the city and will be moving out of his house soon.

Ill arrange logistics of timings and addresses. Pm me with your schedule. Possibly free this Sat?

Sorry to go ot real quick but I need some insight on a misfiring issue that only occurs with more than 10psi of boost pressure

That's the only time it occurs, under low/no boost condition it drives just fine but under higher boost pressures it breaks up and spits and sputters and throws misfires all over the place, it started happening when I was doing a normal pull I reached full boost and then it bucked, made a loud pop, and threw a waste gate solenoid code and now it does what I described earlier

All I need is some insight until I get a chance to talk to either mike or efi about it, I can't afford to have the car off the road for any extended period of time until at least wendesday and I will need to use the car until then

What are you running for boost control?

Have you checked all hoses to ensure you don't have a massive leak?

you try checking the plugs or coils? sounds ignition related.

Stock bcs, was planning on upgrading to either the Cobb or gs unit in a month or so with a retune

Haven't gotten a chance to check, boost gauge reads perfect vac though and boost builds fine with no whistles until 10psi and then it stumbles all over itself and misfires

My thinking is that if I blew a vac hose the vac leak would be reflected in the gauge reading at idle correct? I'm going to check all that tomorrow anyway along with my exhaust gaskets to ensure there aren't any leaks but I'm not planning on getting an answer from that alone since nothing sounds or feels different

Haven't gotten to it but if I had a bad plug or coil it would misfire constantly correct? Mine is only misfiring under boost and even more specifically only at 10psi and beyond all the way to 16psi

Could be a bad plug. Once you start pushing the ignition it is misfiring. Could be a number of things though. The cutout is boost related, not RPM?

I misread initially though. Didn't realize that you were still getting full boost.

Yea the cutout is strictly boost related though ill have to check with rpms as well ill def entertain the possibility that it could be a bad plug

Edit: cutout is boost related rpms make no difference in engine performance

Gfunk if you don't mind sending me a message with what could be the possible culprits I'd be very grateful

Log it. See what cyls are missing and check your fuel trims and go from there. Could also be maxing out your maf due to the colder weather were seeing now. It's a crap shoot diagnosing over the Internet and its useless without any substantial data.

I thought it might be MAF or EBC related, but it sounds like the car is boosting normally. If the MAF was bad too, it likely wouldn't run fine out of boost or at lower boost. I doubt he is maxing his MAF, and that probably would cause misfiring but boost cut.

Pull the code, narrow down your cylinder, and check the plugs first. You may want to just have EFI look at it if you can get it by there. As Cory said, it's pretty hard to diagnose over the internet.

You are welcome to PM me if you like, however I will be out of town all week for work.

I believe they made another P4/5 to race at LeMans which would make that car 1 of 2. I was talking to Jim Glickenhaus (the consignor of the car) a couple years ago and he said he had comissioned Pininfarina to make another one for him. Dude has more money than he knows what to do with. Nice guy though Has some other sick cars too.

I talked to mike about it last night, he said it was either a spark plug or a coil pack so im gonna check that out this weekend the coil packs are easy enough to get to, hopefully that's all it is, it needs other work done on it as well so I might as well put it up for a few days and hammer it all out

Appreciate the responses guys ill keep it updated
