Parts you'd need:

-RS hood with scoop and vents
-RS bumper (will need: large fogs, turn signals, vents, and bumper beam)
-RS side skirts
-RS Coupe Wing
-Lights after MY97 to 01
-Grill after MY97 to 01

Thats about it, I think... I'm pretty sure thats the look your going for.

A lot of people sell these things on e-Bay, and on any other SUBARU related websites like this one.

Just do a search for subaru on e-bay, and I am sure you'll find half of this stuff in no time.

Good luck

ummmmm......no....

If I remember right, the scoop for the hood ALONE is over $200 unpainted. Dealer prices are absolutely REDICULOUS. Just be very very patient. Deals will show up. It took me 3 years to find my sideskirts, and my spoiler just popped up one day (only cost me $60 in MINT condition).

I would say on here is your best option for finding parts. Many people baby their imprezas, so they're scarce at wrecking yards (at least in my experience). Put up some wanted ads in the wanted section on here, and again, just be very very patient.

And remember too, there's other L owners out there! We've all been through this before!

depends on your dealer. The markup is quite high, but many will sell it to you much less. ex. the headlights are around $250 each. I got them from the dealer for half that.

It's not really that people baby their impreza's... it's that there's only around 6000 RS's 99-01. (yes you can get hoods from 98 RS's and 97-01 OBS and the grill/headlights from any 97+ impreza but the bumper stuff is 99-01)

Just look out like a hawk. You can get the bumper skin from the dealer for under $200. Hopefully my L will get a new one some day. It improves the look soooo much.

Here in the UK, even non-turbo GC imprezas get large fog lights (the 2.0L n/a motor). They also get sideskirts, and spats are a factory option. The very early imprezas here got the US 93-97 L bumper but most imprezas I see here have the good bumper (Ver IV or Ver V). In other words, you didn't have to get the highest trimlevel to get some of the sweet exterior parts.
