4 coats of heavy build primer and I'm beat, painting isn't easy. It came out pretty good except for my gun was dripping slightly while doing the roof. I'm gonna have to wet sand it anyways, then hit it with sealer, base white and clear. Ill be doing the home and garden show in P.valley this weekend so I put it off till next week.

I'm down for a cruise/meet if people are going to show up. The jerome cruise is better in many ways; newer condition road, less speedtraps, scenic overlooks and better food at the end of the journey. I've been running regular 87 octane lately because I got 30cents off a gallon at frys, running low boost is kinda boring but cheap.

that's why you have to make sure you have a full tank of gas... at least that way you can run...

" Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow. But he won't know what to make of your blinker signal that says you are about to turn right. This is to let him know you're pulling off for a proper place to talk. It will take him a moment to realize that he's about to make a 180 degree turn at speed, but you will be ready for it. Brace for the g's, and fast heel-toe work."

I'm taking a roadtrip up the coast for two weeks, be up for a meet when I get back. Just got another project off craigslist. Couldnt pass it up, was the first to call on it. Stole it for 2200$, 79 porsche 928 with the 4.4, not even quite sure how to change the oil yet. After running some seafoam thru it and fixing some vacuum lines it runs damn good. Interior will need replacing and a new paintjob.

I have pulled her over before because of her headlight issue. She actually pulled the hand brake to turn both headlights off, then back on. I was confused as hell as to why she turned her headlights off in front of a cop car.

She needs a ground wire upgrade, for some reason subaru still cuts corners on their ground wires. Too bad she wasn't on here, its an easy fix. They use too small of a wire for the battery to chassis ground. Just did this easy upgrade to my buddies new 06 wrx wagon in oregon and the stereo got louder and clearer. It actually increased the power a little and fixed an idle issue he had. I had ground issues on my roadtrip, tps sensor and temperature sensor were wiggin out causing the ecu to go into limp mode. I ended up grounding both directly to the block.

Did not know that. I haven't had issues, but maybe I should start looking into it. If I see her I will talk about joining on here. She is a cool girl to talk to.

In other news. Hopefully no one knows of this idiot, but he almost lost his life today.

The police department issued this news release regarding an accident and street closure yesterday on Lakeshore Dr:

On June 18, 2013 at approximately 4:05 P.M. a Prescott Valley Police Corporal was enforcing traffic violations in the 3700 block of Navajo Drive.

The Corporal had numerous vehicles on radar approaching his position at 35 + miles per hour in a posted 25 mile per hour zone. Another vehicle appeared on radar travelling in excess of 70 MPH in that same area. That vehicle, later identified as a 2002 Subaru Sedan, passed the other vehicles. The officer initiated his lights and siren and attempted to catch up to the vehicle. The suspect vehicle slowed and turned right onto Superstition before turning left and northbound on Papago. The suspect vehicle accelerated at a high rate of speed approximated at 60-70 MPH northbound on Papago.

The corporal lost sight of the vehicle and turned his siren off as not to chase the vehicle. A short time later the Corporal came upon the vehicle which had crashed into a large drainage ditch. It appears the suspect vehicle failed to negotiate a final curve on Papago and went airborne for an unknown distance, before crashing into a large drainage ditch.

The Corporal attempted to render aid to the driver, who was pinned. At that point it appeared the vehicle caught fire. The Corporal was able to retrieve a fire extinguisher from his vehicle and put out the fire.

Fire personnel arrived and had to extricate the driver. He was airlifted to a Phoenix area hospital with serious injuries.
An open container of alcohol was located in the vehicle and investigators will see if impairment was a factor. The driver, identified only as a 29 year old male Prescott Valley resident, will also be investigated for unlawful flight from law enforcement.
The driver was wearing his seatbelt.

Subaru's electrical is quite finicky at times. My roommates WRX has an issue with his HID headlights. One will occasionally turn off randomly. He has to flip the lights on and off a few times to get both back to get it to work. Just an unfortunate flaw in design. I recommend on any Subaru owner to get a DIY grounding kit. You'll notice a huge difference in the vehicle overall.
