The forester doesnt look like it uses cowl induction, it just has the ducting for the IC routed inferior to the hood, entering at the top portion of the grille. The Mazdaspeed 6 had similar.
I like it, its subtle, functional, and doesn't make you look like a teenager with a big bird-sucker of a scoop gaping at the world, making you look fast and furious to LEO's. As neato as the kid in us thinks the scoop is, I think engineering it out, at least in the Legacy and Forester is a good idea. Leave it on the WRX and STI, as the demographic probably prefers it. |
