Why the sudden change over to the subaru from the Z?
Because some lady ran a red light and broadsided me:

I had a lot of time sitting there waiting for the ambulance deciding what I wanted to buy next. I've wanted a subie since 2002 and my girlfriend loves them. It was a no brainer this time.

I keep telling myself to get a dash cam to document the times people almost kill me. It took 4 months to get the police report on this one. Luckily I had a witness.

The good thing about driving in LA is that I can drive 78 mph to work everyday and not get pulled over and the canyons. Man I love me some canyon driving.

Relax brother, just saying marine trafficer is a good way to track your boat. Anyways, I'm excited that your shipment is almost here, can't wait for your pics.

Has anyone ever came across this problem:

I ordered my subaru and... like all of us... have a couple months to wait

When I applied for my loan at chase, they gave me their bottom interest rate. My credit score was 768.

I'm going to have to reapply in APR/MAY. The approval only has a 30 day hold on it.

Will my rates get jacked because of this? Has anyone else ever encountered this problem where you have to apply twice because of waiting for your vehicle to come in?

What's wrong with dealer financing? The lowest rate at banks around me is still nearly double Subaru's 2.9

When I bought mine, the dealer pulled a couple of banks and the best one was from a Credit Union. I'm taking out a loan so that i can buy an investment property and decided to go thru a credit union...much better rate then the big boyzzz

ordered my base wrx wrb 7 weeks ago from Ramsey In NJ. Had some stuff come up and needed a quick turn around so I checked New england subaru for Vermont and MA dealers for what I wanted on lot. Emailed a handful and got a few responses back. Haddad Subaru in MA stepped up to the plate and made it worth my while to cancel my order/deposit I had. Haddad matched my trade in value and ate the rest of the cost to give me a great deal no one else wanted to come close to. MSRP $29,599 with all my accessories just over $25k. I leased it @310/mo 15k mi/yr adding on spoiler, fogs, side deflectors, wheels locks, Homelink, cargo tray, all season mats, footwell red kit, spt exhaust, spt boost gauge, sti shift knob, and sti short throw.
It had 5mi on odo, plastic on the seats and in the doors. They took care of accessories installation and 1st months payment also. Pick up sat. if they're able to get all the parts or by Mon. 1/14

Congrats man. Waiting to hear back from my bank tomorrow and hopefully putting my order in at Ramsey. Post some pics when you pick her up. I might have to meet up with you sometime so I can hear the SPT catback.

Which dealer? And have you had an update recently or is this based on original eta?

I'm still trying to figure out the details on mine but someone on SOA promised she is digging deeper to find out what's going on. I'm at Irvine Subaru and have been checking online inventories for a few dealers in CA and they all have tons of stuff still listed in transit. Seems like they have mostly sold through what they have on the lot and are waiting for the shipment just like we are...

ETA still 1/18

I did go to Glanzmann. I got it for invoice without haggling, just via email. They treated us well, i thought. Also, they're 20 min from my house, and it's who i'll bring my car to for service, so it was worth it to me to establish a report with the dealer. And they give me free PA inspections for life, loaner cars, some free oil changes, and a few other bonuses.

Colonial in Feasterville is in a more convenient location for me, but they seemed like scumbags / sleazeballs there.

Thanks. It's actually a limited, and they are 2005 wrx wheels powder coated semi flat black with Firestone winter force tires on them. I also bought some rokblokz mud flaps, but they forgot to include the mounting brackets so they will have to go on later.
