Default HIN / Gillman booth vehicles: post them up!!

GILLMAN IMPORT NIGHTS

We're really not too far away. Gillman Subaru SW is looking for the best of the best to represent them at HIN on December 15th. We're (i'm speaking on behalf of, as I don't technically work for them, although it seems at times I do), looking for 12-16 of the most unique, exquisite, eye catching, show winning Subarus out there. This is open to all of Texas.

Requirements: you will have to attend the show, follow the HIN rules and regulations as every other participant does. 1/4 tank of gas, etc... You will be required to have the car clean, be there on time for early roll-in.

If chosen, you will be provided a Gillman Subaru SW windshield banner that MUST be on the car during the duration of the show. You will also be given free car show registration (I believe that is driver +1).

Post up a few pics of your car, a brief description of why you should be chosen and a contact email, (or PM glilly or I Am Mclovin).

Those who are not chosen will still have to the opportunity to be parked together in a designated Subaru section.

Alright, ...let's thank Gillman for what they continue to do for us, come out and support, ...let's make this HIN a "Gillman Import Nights" How many Subarus can we get? (in 2002 myself and Heist got over 20+ and single handedly were the reason for the addition of the Subaru class). We had over 50 (registered) at the Gillman BE4.

...post'em up!

Woot!!! Hopefully I get chosen!!

Greeeeeg, I still have a Varis Front Lip Spoiler and Chargespeed Front Grille coming in from the land of the rising sun. They'll be here and installed by HIN, but I obviously don't have them pictured yet.

I haz no good photo skillz either

Ummmm, why I should be chosen? I don't know...I like to think of myself and my Wife as loyal Gillman Subaru SW people. We have racked up 6 Subaru purchases from them between the both of us (and looking to purchase a 2010+ FXT in the VERY near future). I think my STI would represent Gillman well as I'm an avid supporter. I think the STI thus far is very well put together with quality parts for the direction, use, and look I am trying to achieve. I still have much more to do as it's a never ending project. One that would have not been possible were it not for Wally, Julio, Amir, and the Techs at Gillman SW. They did an amazing job bringing her back to life for me and I couldn't ever be more grateful. So I would like to show my support in any way I can.

I drive a 2005 Aspen White Sti. I feel that my Sti is able to represent Gillman well because I took first place at the Big Event 4 two weeks ago. There are many different roots to building and enjoying the cars we drive and I think my car is built well enough to represent myself and the Subaru community well at HIN. The car was last dynoed at 517 awhp. These photos below are a little out dated. I have lowered the car about 2 more inches since then, added a upper and lower grill set, pink scoobies for boobies hella super tones, front lip, and side skirt extenders. I thank the Gillman staff for putting on great shows and always welcoming new members to the Subaru community. I have dealt with Gillman SW A lot of the curse of 3 years while building both of my cars the 2005 sti and my 2002 bugeye. I have a few Iphone pics to go along again the car has more things done to it now.

Let me see if I have the time to cut my roof off and install the new carbon roof. If I get it done in time I will edit this post and put a few pics up.

The reason the Texas Fire Car should be representing Gillman is the simple fact that I walked away with 3 trophies from the big event. I took Second in the Subaru category at Weksos and even have a trophy from IFO when I represented Gillman at that time. The car has come a long way since then and will even get a couple more toys before HIN.

I'm not sure if i'd represent Gillman well since I haven't purchased a vehicle from them, yet. (Recently moved to Texas a couple years). But since I've been in Houston, I've attended every Gillman gathering starting Big event2.

I think I should be choosen for HIN because I strike the Unique and eyecatching category pretty well. One: that it is Sonic Yellow, a rare factory color from Subaru only offered in 2003. Two: My styling is very "cookie cutter" as one would say.

The original plan for the car was to settle down with the import scene(i have a bad driving record) and get a reliable 4-door. Well it kinda transformed into what it is now and it's still my daily driver as I'm a college student.

Well, I will not have the time to do the roof removal in time for the show. So let me just put a couple of old school GC pics up. There have been some subtle changes and I will try to get some new pics.

This car should be chosen as it represents the classic Subaru that the WRC made famous. This is where the STi's started. My car is well modded while remaining very clean.

My car should be chosen because it is a very unique and eye catching car. With a low aggressive look. I always rep the subaru and gillman family to the best of my abilities. The car is well modded with a ton of aftermarket parts, along with the UGM and black it has a great scheme of carbon fiber as well. Though I have only had my car since march. It has taken a 100% turn since I picked it up. Since then I have tried to attend any subaru or car enthusiasts thing I could find and show up too. The car is very well taken care of and looks great from all angles. Though only a WRX it is equipped with a ton of sti goodies including a full interior.

True...Greg was the reason the Subaru class was added to HIN way way way back. I still remember the conversation he had with me about it.

Looks like alot of Subbies will be at the show!!!
