Spotted: Full spec WRC Car at Auto Show in Pittsburgh
I was in Pittsburgh for the weekend and stopped by the auto show/Vintage car race at the park. Lots of sweet cars but this one blew me away. I gave my e-mail address to a guy taking pics with his digital camera so hopefully he'll send them along.
It was just sitting there with the hood up so you could see everything. FMIC, top mount intake, bigass turbo, CF everything... I want one!!! -Mike

Work screwed me over so I couldn't go...
Was it a show car brought in or a local's car? I haven't heard of, or seen that car around here...usually I know about all the sweet cars from around here...always missing out on great stuff. Brian |

still waitin on those pics...damn that thing was sick.
the brakes alone were ridiculous...it was the big brake kit to end all big brake kits haha Prodrive everything on that car... I wanna swap things around like thing...intake under the scoop goin straight into the turbo, FMIC and radiator so they don't block each other with that second hole in the hood to let air out of the engine bay after it flows through... -Mike |

I really wanted to drive that course...it looked insane. Apparently the drivers think its better than the Glen even Too bad only vintage cars can race...

I want one too....
"For the first time, this customer Impreza WRC will have a semi-automatic gear shift, similar to factory cars, with a flipper on the steering column. The system will change gear in just 80 milliseconds and can be self-calibrated by the driver using on board diagnostics" Damn man, I think that's so sweet, what I would do just to have the semi-automatic gears, but the whole car |
