Default Knocking on Stage 2

I'm looking for a stage 2 map for the UTEC. I keep getting knock around 4500rpm and I just want to compair my map to yours. Im currently running about 17-18 timing in that range and I'm wondering how low I can go before it becomes a problem. My AFR is ~11:1 in that range and ~17-18psi boost.

I think i need to turn my boost down more and maybe add some more fuel. My question is more about what the timing should be? And should I make the timing at the higher RPM's the same through out the 10-100 load columns so im not getting the big shift in timing when shifting? Any help would be appriciated.

Also I seem to have a problem with partial throttle full boost listed in the 2nd CODE. Any hints on how to fix this?

I also have a AVCR to install soon, will this help solve the PTFB issue?

the PTFB is because your boost map is crazy looking!

Your CLB values go from 0-500. That means as you approach 500 you are telling your boost control solenoid to "stay shut as along as you can and build the most boost you can"

It looks like you are trying to nip-tuck- and enter different boost values all over the place. In fact, these are some of the whackiest values ive ever seen.

Some people like ptfb... but if you dont, i suggest trying a boost map that looks like this:

another thing you may want to do is disconnect your boost solenoid and do a couple of 4th and 5th gear pulls. I'd like to see what boost you make just on wastegate spring pressure. See how you shot up to 20psi at around 5000rpm? You may have some other issues.

The boost map goes from about 350 to 400. all even rounded numbers I dont know where its getting those odd ones like 327.5 357.5 377. I'll try to smooth it out a bit more and see what I can get. The weird thing is the map I started with tuned by TurboXS for my firends 04 STI (this was his "Safe" map) had much higher boost values, leaner fueling, more timing....I have no clue how it ran on his car.

are you sure dude? becuse at 60% tps you have CLB values over 400

ive seen many tuned turboxs maps and they just dont do that.
