'04 and '05 STi should not be on the same line. No vote here.

A litle bit. Wider wheels do give more of a flat contact patch. It's only a little and in racing every bit counts.

My '02 Bugeye was my favorite of the my 4 subes - more for emotional reasons (1st Sube turbo in U.S., bulging fenders, etc), slightly edging out the 99 2.5RS - because of the turbo - but in terms of drivability and performance, my '06 WRX is the hands-down winner! I'm talking stock vs stock here. I did mod my '02 mildly. My '06 is bone stock, only cause I'm saving my bills for a '10 STI (fingers crossed that they change the body style by then).

I had to vote for the 06 WRX and STi since i owned a 06 WRX and it was a frigging blast and own a 06 STi now and wish i had started with it. Otherwise id say the 02-03 WRX's are the best looking of the whole mess of em.

Summed up nicely.

06 for best WRX for the projector headlights, 2.5L, high-flowing injectors, and 4/2 pot brakes but I'm very proud and happy to be a bugeye owner with better seats.

I owned a 05 STi and then a 04 STi and haven't regretted either of them. Even now that is my favorite body style. However, the 07 is the best imo if you are going for performance.

For the WRX, of course the 06-07 is the better choice.
