I just paid 23500 for a Silver 5spd Wagon w/ Security, EC Mirror, CF Trim, Armrest extension, cross bars, cargo tray, bumper cover.
Not bad.... List was 25300 or so. I could have haggled for another hour or so and got another hundred or two off, but it wasn't worth my time. I walked in, he said a price, I said a lower one, he said another, I said another. Done. 10 minutes. They are dealing now. |

What I paid..
I bought my 2002 Silver 5 spd Wrx sedan with Wheel locks, Armrest extension and Premium Sound Package I, (All speakers upgraded and the subwoofer) for $22,881. Did I win?
I did cheat a little though....I'm a Train Engineer for the Norfolk Southern Railway, and since we transport their Autos to the East Coast, we're entitled to participate in Subaru's VIP program for preferred vendors, which allows us to buy at the dealer's dead net cost! The MSRP on the car was $25,048.00 Joe |

I got mine for 24,298. I got a Blue Sedan 5spd with a spoiler, boost gauge, premium sound package, short shift, titanium shift knob, security system and armrest extention MSRP is 26,507. It took about 2 hrs of negotiation but I think I got a pretty good deal.
It looks like everyone else got a pretty good deal too Congrats on your new car!! |

got mine for $23,128. silver sedan, 5 spd, spoiler, alarm, boost gauge, compass/auto dimming mirror. i didn't even have to haggle the price, just asked once how much they would be willing to take off of the sticker of $25,608. thought it was a pretty good deal, so i took it. the best part was only having to spend about half an hour total at the dealer. 20 minute test drive, 5 minutes in salesman's office, 5 minutes in the finance managers office of course it took me 2 hours to get there, but it was worth it.

I just called the dealer and talked to a salesman and agreed to 300 over invoice plus all the options at invoice. I went to the dealer and they had the one in the showroom with leather installed. Got the leather for cost and was done at the dealer within an hour including the test drive. I think I may have been able to do slightly better, but I am satisfied with the price and got free rubber floor mats thrown in too. Also, keep in mind that the finance rate is semi-negotiable too... That is what I negotiated for since the price was settled over the phone.
