Electrical System Under too much Load?
For the last 6 months, I have added a few things to my '13 wrx. I started off with just a boost gauge, and since then the mod list has grown. I am a technician, and I use my wrx as my service car and average about 100 miles a day to about 5-10 different locations. Since I have added these electronics to my car, and I do multiple stops each day, what would you recommend to help reinforce the electrical system? Is there a vendor that offers an aftermarket alternator to help with all of these additions (or is this even necessary)? I was also considering an Optima Red Top for the continuous starting my car has to go through each day. Any thoughts or ideas would be very helpful! As far as future plans, I may want to get a subwoofer + Amp in the future, and that will put even more stress on the electrical system.

You need nothing. Nothing at all. Even when you put a woofer in, I doubt you're going to be pushing a heavy hitter. At that point though a "big 3" wouldn't hurt.

I think a combination of a red top and performing the big 3 wouldn't hurt at all. Might be a good idea just to be cautious. With the alarm alone, there are 3 modules that required power, and 3 different relays for various applications. I know these are small, but don't you think it will add up, especially if I start to expand my audio system? |

You are drawing next to no additional power.
