Cool 2014 Impreza interior wrap help!

I'm looking to wrap 3 parts of my interior in carbon fiber. One if the CVT silver shifter cover, and also the 2 silver pieces of plastic on the dash, one on the passenger side above the glovebox and the driver side about the traction button. My questions are - how do you take these pieces out? And which is a nice quality of wrap to use? Are there any install videos? Thanks in advance!

Ive not made this comment yet on the forum, but "Do a search". Ive saved you some trouble since I made a couple of the posts myself and could find them easy. This should be everything you need to know with the exception of the CVT area, but one of the following threads has information about it because someone else used plastidip:

Unless you know how to wrap I would take it to a shop. Vinyl Wrap shops seems to be a dime a dozen these days. Vinyl wrapping is not really one of those things you want to try by yourself the first time you do it.

Source: Been there, wish I never attempted that.

I agree with you Prop, but for small pieces like these, it should be easy. Just take your time and follow the instructions for the wrap and you'll be fine.

Depending on the complexity of shape... More curves, more problems. The dash accents take 5 minutes. If you need practice the same piece can be used over and oven even if it crumples up, just apply heat and smooth it back out.

Well another option to the gear box cover is getting a wrx cvt gear box cover. People are already tried and it works its just a matter of what you want. I'll be doing this soon if I can get my hands on the cover and knob

That looks incredible! That definitely does not look like vinyl wrap. Are those actual CF replacement pieces?

BTW, why so many smelly pine trees lol? Do you smoke in your car?
