Default woodtrim.com sucks! :(

i ordered a carbon fiber trim kit on 12/17, they screwed up or something the first time making it, telling me that it would
redo it and ship by today 12/27.

i paid overnight shipping and they charge your cc before they
even start building it. this is bullsh't.

they suck in my books. they better give me a full refund or
have fun with bbb. ill go buy the factory kit instead.

also contacted them too. i asked for a full refund but woodtrim.com shipped it overnight anyway.

man these asswhores are really asking for it!

will let you know how the trim turns out. if its even a bit
less than par, im going to have to kick their arse.

Woodtrim.com (Joshua Tree) CF Kit
Started out with bad customer support...then the product
arrived the trim kit does not even match the contours of my
02WRX sedan... very sad sight. the carbonfiber trims itself
look pretty good, but man, if it doesnt fit the car why buy it?

I highly not recommend anyone buying this carbon fiber interior
trim kit from JoshuaTree (woodtrim.com).

1. Door handle piece ignores the hump between the
control keys...making it impossible to fit.

2. Passenger handle piece ignores the hump beteen the
control keys...making it impossible to fit.

3. Center console - not even close to the curvature of the
shift boot when lined up. were they on drugs?!

4. Center dash console - when you line up the HVAC controls,
you get about 2mm gap on both sides of the trim. and
knowing the factory trim plate is gold, you can see the gap
clearly!!!

I stopped there....but Im sure the other 17pcs have problems too.

I called up Ray (owner) and he agreed to give me a full refund
and send me a calltag for the return shipment. He seems to
be a nice guy, but after what Ive been through (late shipment,
no late responses, etc) I am pretty much fed up.

i got one from [email protected]. it took about 8 days to arrive (bought it from them off of ebay). judging from what kenchan is saying, this one fits a whole lot better! i just put it on, and these guys send front door handles for the sedan and the wagon. my sedan piece had the same probs with the bump, the wagon one fits perfectly. they even gave pieces for the glove compartment handle and keyhole. the only pieces i don't like are the ones that go around the circular air vents. they're just a LITTLE too big. other than that, the fit is superb. check them out.

I got the blue carbon fiber trim kit from eBay a long time ago and installed it in my ride and now I am not liking the quality of it. Even though it's "real" carbon fiber, to me, it still looks cheap. I just took all of them off and man it was a PITA to do. They were stuck on there pretty good. Now there are some scratches and broken parts in my car from pulling the trim off. I am taking most of the parts and repainting it to a different color.

Any suggestions?

yeh, those trims are too thick so they bulge out from the
trim pieces. best way to go is to paint them or use decal
(check out i club interior thread where i made my own).

if you find any metallic black trim paint, please let me know.

Default Wooddash>Woodtrim

For christmas i recieved a carbon fiber trim kit. According to the picture on wrxtuner.com it was supposed to be the wooddash kit but instead it was the woodtrim kit. I was very disapointed!!!!!! I put it on my car and there were gaps everywhere. There is close to an inch gap inbetween the shifter boot and the actual carbon fiber. I called the guys up and the said that the gap was supposed to be there. This is very pathetic on their part. If they charge $200 for a product i would expect it to be better than it was. I then ordered the wooddash carbon fiber the next day. It came in after 2 weeks and the kit was awesome. Far surpassed the pathetic excuse of a carbon fiber kit by woodtrim. If you want a great carbon fiber kit i highly recommend wooddash.com and stay away from woodtrim. On another note, also stay away from ordering a carbon fiber kit from wrxtuner.com they false advertised the woodtrim as the wooddash and ruined my christmas gift. sorry for the long post im just upset about my bad luck. $500 later my interior is looking great!!!!
