What is a good amount of 1080 to buy from eBay if I want to do the radio bezel and a few other trim pieces near the shifter?

It's kind of funny you say that because I removed the Subaru fake cf trim kit to do this, and even though I like the look of the 3m stuff better, I'm probably going to go back to the trim kit if it's going to start lifting off over time.

I wrapped my Lenovo T510. It came out pretty cool. I don't like how the factory Lenovo rubberized coating wears and starts to age. The DINOC is very durable and still looks great after 2.5 years.

The heat makes it bend/conform to different shapes. You don't just slap it on and then heat it. You heat it as you're applying it. |

im re-doing mine since i always get frustrated with that part. I would suggest getting 3m 94 primer apply it there to help the adhesion. I should have some pictures soon once i get to working on it |

any problem having this wrapped in 1080?
radiator shroud, so i dunno if that sort of environment would be trouble. looking at the specs on the 3m site, it doesn't seem like it. Last edited by builthatch; 07-15-2012 at 11:19 PM. |

Make sure you wrap the edges or it will peel up from the heat. 1080 is very soft and formable

Went a little different route with the trim pieces. I thought having them all done was a bit TOO much carbon look -
