Default New 2008+ WRX FMIC Now Available - Pix inside

Getting hot out there. Just in time to fight the heatsoak RacerX has released an all new 2008+ WRX FMIC.

All new design incorporating many features requested by WRX owners.

Core requires NO cutting of the OEM bumper beam retaining all OEM safety features. Kit allows the retention and use of OEM fogs. Kit comes complete with everything needed for a OEM turbo or an STi style turbo. BPV flange welded on from the factory. All pipes have beaded ends. All couplers are 5 ply silicone with T-clamps. No relocation of the OEM coolant overflow tank. Clears OEM air pump. Easy battery removal. Works with all (known) aftermarket intake systems. Including OEM air box (with slight mod).

Kit comes complete with everything you need for just $765 shipped with no BPV flange or $815 shipped with BPV flange. Final pix are a V3 change being incorporated now. All new kits come with the new hot side pipe

RacerX is now a Nasioc Vendor. PM me here for info, or email me at [email protected].

I am not personally selling the kit, or anything else. Just passing on the info.

RacerX can be reached at www.racerxengineering.com or [email protected]

Paypal for payments is [email protected]

Thread is worthless without pix. So here you go. Let me know what you all think.

ibtl...
did you fab this yourself or are you showcasing it for vendor.
you know the mods will lock your thread if you're peddling parts
without being a vendor.

If you please re-read the post. This is a retail kit available from RacerX. Only available from RacerX. RacerX is a nasioc vendor. I am NOT selling the kit or ANYTHING else. I am simply passing along the info for all to see. If you have QUESTIONS about the kit, I can help by answering them. But that is all I offer. INFO. If you are interested in purchasing a kit you need to contact RacerX directly.

Once again. I am not selling anything. This thread is for info only, all I offer is info.

RacerX is an authorized nasioc vendor. RacerX is selling the kit.

I like the huge FMIC core, however the pipes look like they fit horrible and the welds look like my 5yr old cousin did them. IDK, I was interested, but not so much anymore.

A pretty weld doesn't mean a strong weld. An ugly weld doesn't mean a weak weld.

I mention pricing so you know what it cost. What good is the thread without that info? I mention to contact me if you have any questions because I have installed 4 of the kits for members and because of the experience have lots of insight. I even have two of the RacerX LGT FMIC kits. They make FMIC's for a few Subie cars.

The vendor (RacerX/brmq) has a thread up in the vendor classifieds. I just posted this here because others who might be interested but not trolling the classifieds could see it.

There are not many low cost options for the 2008+ WRX. Thought it was nice to see some new stuff coming out.

You must know a very talented 5yr old. Out of all of the 85 kits I have sold so far no one had a problem with the welds. Eveyone that has got the kit comment on the high quality of the kit. But, you got all that just from the pictures? Have you seen the kit in person? Just goto legacygt.com and look up "itsme" and you can read for yourself about the quality of the kit and my customer service. My iTrader rating speaks for it's self read the comments. http://legacygt.com/forums/itrader.php?u=9198

Anyway I went with this core size because it was the biggest I could fit behind the stock bumper beam. It's great to go fast. But, it's better to go fast and not to remove safety equipment. If you have an accident and you have no crash beam will your insurance company deny your claim because you removed the safety equipment? So far our test car has made 400whp no problem with the core. Right now the car is being setup as a show car. When it is back together we are going to try for 450whp.

Like I said this kit is for people that want a quality FMIC keep the stock bumper beam, keep foglights, keep stock overflow tank, be able to use a STi or '08+WRX style turbo and a low price. If that is not what you are looking
