I have a JDM legacy grill with the L7 emblem. It will fit 97-99 legacy GTs and Outbacks. It has all the clips except one. A little bit of paint is chipped $130 Shipped obo

Is this for a "flat" bumper, an "intermediate dip" bumper, or a USDM style deep dip bumper like you would find on a Lancaster or an Outback stationwagon ?

it is the "tall" grill that fits the 97-99 GTs and Outbacks, or a JDM bumper. I do have one possible buyer I am waiting for a response from though

Do you have a picture of it installed on said 97-99 GT/Outback bumper? What vehicle did it actually come off of? Saying that it "fits the 97-99 GTs and Outbacks, or a JDM bumper" isn't very confidence-inspiring, since the overwhelming majority of JDM bumpers take the low or mid height grilles.

I would be interested if it was actually the "tall" variant, but it looks to me that it's just a painted version of the "mid" one I've already got that didn't fit right.

I fear that Pat is likely correct.

Perhaps you could measure the width in millimeters of the grill across the L7 Badge from the top to the bottom chrome "bar" and Pat could measure his as well ? I suspect they are likely the same dimensions.

Thank you.

its a medium grill. it doesnt fit any usdm bumper perfect. I have the same one on my legacy and it leaves about a 1/2in gap on the bottom but you can barly notice especially since my car is black. Heres what it looks like and honestly gap or no gap still a 100 times nicer then the stock plastic honeycomb grill.
It will only fit perfect on a jdm bumper or if you get one off the jdm outback /lancaster. But the JDM outback/lancaster grill doesnt look anything like the L7 grill. The L7 grill with the red emblem is off the JDM twin turboed legacy GT-B and the non turbo varients of that car have a green L7 emblem. So if you want this look on your grill you have to deal with a small gap. Heres some bad pictures of my personal GT-B grill headlights and foglights. I will be getting a JDM bumper soon because my stock one has a 2x4 sized hole behind the license plate and has many gouges and scratches all over from the previous owner.
