Almost looks like the Leguna Seca Blue from the E46 M3s. I wouldn't never take one of these over a 911 Turbo or even the current M6.

That smurf/marshmallow-peep blue is horrible. And blue is my favorite color.
The XKR-S is way over-wrought. The XKR, like the red car at the top, (and I prefer the XKR coupe) is gorgeous without the tacky add-ons. I really wish it had an automated-clutch based gearbox, rather than a hydraulic, torque-converter automatic. |

beautiful from the side and rear, but the headlights and grill make it look sleepy and sad.

First... Ford doesn't build a GT350.
They build a GT, or Boss 302, or GT500. Secondly, the Shelby-built GT350 is a joke, and way over-priced for the ugly that you get from it. A complete disgrace to the amazing original GT350. Thirdly, that color is attrocious, so I wouldn't draw an equivalency on that aspect. Fourthly, and most important.... There is a gulf (hint... blue, gulf... get it? ) of difference between a Ford, based on a chassis that enters the market around 20K, ...and a Jaguar, designed by a master, Ian Callum, and built to a much, much higher standard. Basic architecture similarities may exist being front engined 5 liter DOHC V8s, driving the rear wheels, but in terms of execution and detail, they are not similar, which is why they aren't priced similarly. And frankly, I love the new headlights' sleeker shape, in comparison to the current ones that look like an odd state of permanent surprise, somewhere between round and triangular on the sides. |

I drove one the other day for a bit. It was a lot of fun, and would be a killer daily driver.

Premium cars with soft tops should be lightweights, like the Boxster. Jaguar using them on the $90K (base version!) two ton XKR is a complete joke.
