Well, hopefully I don't have a ticket coming in the mail then. I was just cruising in the middle/second from right lane. Maybe going 65mph. We shall see.

That's what I thought. I was pegged at 65 usually, and even though I have oem wheels/tires... I think my speedo reads a little higher than actual.

Any of you guys have an old/broken knock sensor? I need to cannibalize the connector to replace my jdm fog one.

Btw, as of two weeks ago, I-95 has two of the camera jeeps set up running both north and south bound now. They sure do bring in a lot of revenue, I watch ppl get pegged all the time with them. And yes, anything 11 over will require you to give them a "donation"

Sure enough. Apparently I was going 68.

"exceeded posted speed limit by at least 12mph." Guess that 2mph is a real mofo. Sigh.

So it was actually 13 over the posted limit... Only 20% over the limit.

Mofo

But totally safe!

Do the tickets scale based on speed? or $40 flat rate? A curious number. Annoying, but not that painful. Almost like they planned it that way so you didn't put up a stink.

They must make tons of money, because I am usually equal to the slowest people on the highway every day.

If its similar to DC, the fines go up in speed, and will still warrant the jeopardy of a CDL license they could care less about the amount. They'll get you either way, again, if memory serves and it is like DC, they have to be fought with a lawyer... Just a way for you to say screw it and pay.
I only compare to this because most of my time is spent there.

Meh, safe is a subjective topic in a work zone.

I've noticed there are usually a display that says you are going XX mph before the cameras. I just use that as my brake zone.

I look for the port-a-pots in work zones. They have to be given facilities to use. They are normally parked on the other side of the blue crappers. At least on the beltway.
