I'd love to dump my Cosworth motor and drivetrain into one of these. Or a 2ltr stroker motor with a 30r

Trust me on this when I say 250-280 HP in this car is plenty. I realize the whole more is more mantra, but even with just 250 HP it was seeing sub 4 second 0-60 times and over 1.5 G’s with the Toyo tires.

It came far more 'assembled' than I expected (and I'm not really sure what I expected).

Body work is taped together and some interior panels are taped to the frame for shipping.

A donor. :troll:

Motor, trans, suspension and brake bits, wheels, and other random hardware. Kit is $10k. Shipping is around another $1200 if you don't pick it up. Order today and you have at least a 1 year wait time.

Not unexpected for kit cars. I doubt they have the millions to spend on designers like the car manufacturers.

The replica cobra is bit off on the belt line though. The door and exhaust gap is much larger, thus not has sleek and low like the original.

It's good enough for enthusiasts. If someone was really that picky they would need to find a nice one at Barret Jackson. What they going for? half a million?

Can't wait till someone here get one and we start seeing videos

Mine will be ready July 20th. Not sure how long it will take the shipping company to get it to Indy.

If they follow DOT rules the max they can drive is 11 hours in a day.

MA to IN is roughly 14 hours. 2 days after they pick it up is the minimum.

I've heard though that sometimes they'll wait at FFR until they have a full load. So if you're car #3, it would ship right away with 2 from the previous week. If you're car #1, and FFR can only make 2 a week, they might not pick up until they have a third car ready a week later. Then, they'll make other stops along the way, so it could be much longer.

The email from Stewart that longislandwrx posted said they usually pickup within 7 days.

Virginia International Raceway in Danville, VA. It's one of the nicest tracks in the entire country.

Now I'm wishing that Turn In Concepts and I were going to be able to run at UTCC again this year. Sadly, not in the books
