We haven't forgotten about you guys, but we have a few deadlines were trying to meet with a few turbo cars so as soon as we check those off the list we'll sit down and figure out some exact pricing for the header/midpipe setup!

So, you guys have made an UEL version, are you going to make an EL version? If you could make an EL version that rivals the gains of TWE headers, at a cheaper price, I'd be on board. I've currently got OBX's, but I want more.

BTW, is there a final price decided on these?

I love the idea of a header for the n/a motor. I have to confess I would not invest even $350.00 for a header for the 95 Impreza, but I may consider one for the 03 Forester.

I can't wait to hear more about the production date and prices. I was not expecting the gains going from a EL header to a UEL header. Congrats. Also, nice video. It sounds perfect

They didn't go from an EL to UEL. They went from a UEL to a UEL.

It was my 07 2.5i we put the Moore Catback on and I gained 12wHP and 10ft-lb of torque, stock and with catback run were with 93 octane. I am still trying to figure out how to install these Borlas headers with the 2002 RS Catpipe I have due to my O2 sensors being in the front of my engine bay. I need to try and relocate them to the rear.

Not yet. I know, I know, I'm slacking but with the autox season underway and a few cars not finished, were bustin our butts to get these cars done asap (including our two shop cars) so that we can go out racing on the weekends! I'm out of town right now, but when I get home we're having a meeting to go over pricing, etc. I will keep you guys posted, but stick with me as we finish up a few projects.

I don't think they are in a hurry to drive people away from the thread just yet

In all honesty not many of you are going to pay the price they are going to set, I think they realize this as well, hence the attention focused on the stronger market sectors.

Yeah, the price will likely be a little steep, but, and this seems like it would be a rather big but. The Moore header gives not only a great sound but also a worthy increase in HP.
What other UEL NA specific headers can say that.
proper fitment, great sound, more power. Sound to me like its going to be worth it

Also, a question about the 08+ models. right now we have to modify our headers to fit non NA specific front sway bars limiting us to 22mm if we choose not to mess around with this. Will you likely be building clearance into the Moore header to fit turbo model sway bars for those of us wishing to have a stiffer setup.

Oh I dont know my stock LGT manifold gave me 12 hp increase over the stock manifold. and I run a 25mm Tribeca Front Sway par and a 22mm LGT bar in the rear no knocking up front due to clearance BUT I made sure during the fabrication process i made the extension on the LGT collector long enough

Sometimes you buy quality hardware to actually have quality hardware. As a personal consumer, you have to weigh the options and decide for yourself what a product is worth. Part of this worth is the quality of the build. Sometimes you don't care. Sometimes you do care. For example, my brother has a Maddad exhaust on his FXT. The build quality on that is very, very good. There's certainly cheaper, but sometimes you just like to actually have good things. I have a rear strut tower bar that costs $350, but I got it because it was better than the cheapies on eBay. It was a 4 point bar, quick releases, and was simply a more functional and better operating design. Sure I could have saved $300, but it was a critical part and was seriously worth the price. Exhaust can be a big deal too. It certain affects power but also sound, and there's a longevity issue and even CEL issue. Good designs have real solid worth. They are well thought out, well made, and supported by people who care about what you get. You're also supporting a fellow Subaru enthusiast rather than some nameless Chinese factory, and there's worth in that too.

One thing I would like to see as an option with these headers is coatings. I know you guys haven't mentioned anything about that, but I think it's worth looking into as an add-on option. It tends to help with the CEL issue by keeping the heat in and to the cat(s).

very well put!

Coatings are definitely an option. In fact, the one in the photos has since been coated with a mil-spec gold coating. It ends up looking something like this:

and here is a satin black:

These are the Moore twin-scroll turbo headers, but you get the idea.

Next time I head over to the shop I will snap some pics of the NA header in its ceramic coated sexyness! It looks so sick!

Any more sound clips? I'd love to hear some video of the header NOT on the dyno, maybe even from inside while driving around?

Also, did anyone ever mention whether or not Moore will be manufacturing a similar header for the 08+ crowd? I might have missed it...
