Carefully !! LMAO- depends on what parts you have. You might skip over to: bbs.legacycentral.org to see what a few others have done.
IF you have all of the pipes from turbo to intake, it should pretty much bolt up with a few tweaks. The diverter tube will also need some tweaking. Take pics of what you have and it should be easier to see. For my SAAB intercooler setup on my turbo I had to fab the connecting pipe from turbo to intercooler and also fab a new diverter outlet and setup. Last edited by dscoobydoo; 05-24-2005 at 01:50 PM. |

I assume you are talking about an AWIC intercooler? You need to run a pair of hoses to the front of the car and get a water pump for it. A fairly common solution is to remove the AC and use that bracket. You can get a belt driven one or an electric. It just has to be in-line, and not block mounted. Johnson Marine makes a few for RV's that can be used.
Then you need a heat exchanger to mount into the front grill. Jegs or JC whitney sell units as oil or tranny coolers that work just fine. Just don't go too small. 8x 15 is about the minimum you want. Then you have to fabricate some inlet plumbing, unless yours came with it. But even if it did, you need a JDM VF10/11 that is clocked about 10 degrees different on the outlet side to run the air over to the TB. |

blah blah blah... I just didn't read slowly. I love how 10 people will correct you around here and add their own little personal spin. Only 1 guy needs to say it to make the point.

Napphappy, he could put a wrx scoop on it like Jake15 (over @ Legacy Central) did, he basically riveted the scoop onto his hood using exsisting mounting points, it looks pretty good.

I think the GC/GM RS hood scoop would look a bit better than a WRX scoop.
I was thinking of trying to find one for my LT once I get my Saab i/c installed..... |

We still love ya Matt
If you look at the earlier Legacy turbo's, it seems they use roughly the same intercoolers as the Imprezas, so the scoop should not be a major issue. As long as all the parts are there, it should bolt up pretty well. |
