No sweat Anthony. It should show up Friday, and we're lined up to get it installed afterwork. I might be interested in a set of rear end links before heading to nationals (2nd week of September.) Are these items you would have in stock? For an '04 STi.

Ok, it seems that I am the only one that have problems with Mauromotorsports delivery then!
I ordered at 04/15/2004 some parts from Antony (that must say he answered at once my e-mails) and he send me some of them after 1,5 month!
He told me that he wait a STI I/C kit from Japan thus I should wait more for the rest of my order!
I send him again and again e-mails some of them with no answer and now after more than 4 months still waiting for the I/C.
Please guys tell me how much time needs an I/C to delivered from Japan to California with the slowest way you know, four months?
I know, I am sarcastic but when I asked him about the delay he told me that it's "special order" item which he doesn't mention in his site!
The I/C kit is listed in the available parts not special orders.
Please tell me what to do?

Like I said to you in many many e-mails...I'm having a hard time getting New V7 STi FMIC's. I have even offered to send you a Spearco TMIC at no extra cost to you. I have e-mailed you dozens of times explaining the problems I am having getting these from my source. I have also answered ALL of your e-mails in a timely manner.

By the way I don't know why you keep saying I have the part in the available section of my website. It says on my website "Special Order" right below the picture of the intercooler and it's said that for a very long time. At this point I am ready to throw my hands up in the air and simply give you a full refund. I'm not sure what else you'd like me to do. The part was ordered a long time ago...and until it comes in there is nothing more I can do, but offer you something else or give you a refund.

Let me know what you'd like to do.

Anthony

Antony
As thousand of miles away I have to be very carefull before to order and I have read many reviews about your company that must say are all positives!
Don't forget in your first e-mails you did tell me that it needs about 4-6 weeks thus my complaints after so long time and believe me four months are four months which ever way you look at them, especially in my case where I told you have to pay again and again for a remap with the new I/C (tha mapper comes from UK)!
I don't want to defame your company in every case, as a bussinesman I know first hand how bad feeling is when a customer complains publicly and so apologise if this happens but it's the first time you give me a different choice in place of the STI I/C!
Hope now are all clear and I really apreciate your offer!
Thanks

You shouldn't need other necessary tuning with the new TMIC. However I think you and others would agree that bar and plate is much better then the STi TMIC.

Also, I didn't think about another option up until now. Sorry I didn't think of it sooner.

Thanks again,
Anthony

According to Prodrive tube and fin has better cooling capabilities but more restricted flow thus the factory choice for tube and fin design, although personal opinion is that bar and plate is better overall IF you don't stop for long time on traffic lights where the I/C suffer from heat soak!

Put it this way...I used to run a VF30 with an STi TMIC. I made decent horsepower, but once I put on a bar and plate TMIC I was able to tune 20 more wheel horsepower out of the car. Also, the intercooler was almost always cool to the touch. Of course if you sit in traffic all day and are stop and go...any top mount will have this problem. Maybe you need a Front mount if this is a major concern of yours.

Inlet hose? Or do you mean MAF hose? Two different things. You ordered a MAF hose.

And I've been waiting since May to receive our Samco MAF hoses...I guess you didn't read my e-mail?

My apologies, but if the manufacturer can't keep up with demand that is not my fault. Having the same problem with HKS circle earths for WRX.

I do, last one dated a month ago

"Samco is slower then any other manufacturer we deal with. I have the intake bend pipes on the way to me from my distributor. It shouldn't be much longer until they arrive."

And your website says, for my status, "Samco Intake Bend Pipe"....not MAF so, technically, your post (a nit-pick on wording...) is no more accurate than mine. So, perhaps an update to your website is needed there.

Constructive tip (not sarcasm) - update the order status so it does not always say "will ship in 1-2 weeks" That would help people like me so we don't have to send an email asking every month. Perhaps something on the part saying "we've been waiting two months for this part....special order..." vice "will ship in 1-2 weeks" See how one can get upset? It is misleading, whether you mean it to be or not.

Everything else has been shipped on time with great service. It would have just been nice to have been informed of the troubles of obtaining parts from Samco up front and what kind of delay to expect. SELGP put under the COBB downpipe "4-6 week delay" or something to that effect. I know I won't order another Samco part again...nor will I order anything Tanabe again. I just had hoped to get it on before winter. In another few weeks, it is simply going to sit in a box in a closet until Spring.

Thanks for the update and I won't cancel since it is Samco's fault, not yours.

In either case an inlet pipe is not what you ordered, so I was confused. I'm not being nit-picky just thought you might have ordered the wrong part if were saying you ordered an inlet pipe.

The fact is, when you ordered your item we were expecting it to be another week or two after until it arrived. Obviously this is not the case and we've spoken about this in the past. I have a lot of customers and I try to keep on top of everyone's orders as best I can. However,if you do not hear from me or if the status of your order on our website doesn't change, then simply call me or e-mail me. If you feel the need to be updated once a week I'll be glad to do so. I make my best efforts to reply to e-mails in a timely manner, but I get over 100 e-mails per day and have dozens of new customers ordering from us daily. Time is not always on our side.

I'm always open to constructive tips whether good or bad, however, I just feel that this is not the place to do so. An e-mail, PM, or a phone call would be more professional in my opinion. Like I said in my e-mail to you, when a manufacturer has delays due to supply issues, that is not our fault and there is very little we can do about it. I'm sorry that supply issues were a problem with your order and i hope that it has not made your impression of mauromotorsports a poor one.

EDIT: Noticed you do not want to cancel, but if you have ANY problems at all what-so-ever, please e-mail me.

Thank you again,

Anthony Mauro

Do you have the ST-203704S020 Regular price: $219.99Sale price: $194.99 in stock (rear '04+ STi strut tops)? If so, I'll place an order for those today. Thanks for clearing it up; it was frustrating seeing the order status say 1-2 weeks, not knowing if that was the case, and then having to write emails asking for updates. Again, everything in the past has been great and I'll place an order today showing I still have confidence in your company.

Anthony has been a big help with getting me the parts i need for my car. I dont like to do things twice and everything ant has got me has been exactly what im looking for. I know ive had him searching for some of the odd ball items. Anytime anyone asks me who to buy parts from i tell them MauroMotorsports, because i know that they will not be BSed into buying crap or be mistreated

My Car

Besides hes the only vendor that i know that would let me race his car after i blew my motor at an autox AND orders me up a new one the next day!
