Default How To Read Wiring Diagram

Hey so I started working on my car again and after I do the new cage build and chassis work I am doing is a full harness swap but Its been hard trying to figure out wire diagrams so I am making this to help others. Also join in to add information. I am going to post pictures form a factory service manual to help people. I payed for this manual and have it saved. Sorry if it is not perfect I just used paint to join pages as smoothly as I could without taking forever.

Well here it all is.

Above is the information that I have been referring to help me understand some of the Diagrams however the most intense Diagram in the whole book to me is an ECU pin out below is a picture of 1995 Subaru Impreza Coupe ej18 ECU Pinout and the wiring diagram with it. Help me read this haha

An ECU Pinout is important for me to understand fully cause I wanna swap my coupe in the future again and I wanna be able to do everything myself.

Bumping this, because that ONE picture of the ECU pinout connecting to the main harness is the EXACT picture I was looking for. Please post a link to the whole thing?

Actually I paid for a subscription somewhere. Unfortunately they have the wrong diagram (so now I'm fighting to get my money back).

I guess first on the list would be the adjoining page of the ECU, where 1-12 go off to.

My e-mail is [email protected] if you'd prefer to send it that way.

Thanks though!

I Really canīt find the ECU pinout for the ej16 ECU. Is not the same as the ej18.

EJ18: 3 Yellow connectors
EJ16: 2 Green connector

Do you have this one?
