Default First pictures of Jaguar XFR-S leak out

Quote:
Jaguar XFR-S pictures leak out ahead of Los Angeles motor show debut; full technical details and more pictures to be revealed Wednesday evening

Power is expected to come from a supercharged 5.0 V8

These are the first pictures of the Jaguar XFR-S, which will be unveiled later this evening at the Los Angeles motor show.
The range-topping performance version of the XFR super-saloon has been described by its makers as "the fastest and most powerful saloon Jaguar has ever produced."
However, although these pictures have leaked out ahead of the car's official unveiling, no performance data has been given. The car is expected to be powered by a version of the XFR's supercharged 5.0 V8, tuned to around 4542bhp.
The pictures do reveal that, like the XKR-S, the XFR-S gets several aggressive bodywork upgrades.

That wing is way out of place in a Jag. Even a performance one.

I totally agree.

In now world should this car have a anything but a trunk lip spoiler. This is just plain stupid for a car that is suppose to be about class.

4300 lbs, slushbox. Has to be a lot cheaper than an E63 to get some of the market IMHO.

Also agree with above comments, wing has to go - and the smurf color, which I like on a TT Lambo, doesn't belong on a Jag. New owners are making things gaudy at Jag and Rover.

Monaro is exactly what came to mind when I saw the pics, a much more refined Monaro/GTO...

I think it looks pretty decent for a high-performance vehicle, just doesn't scream Jag.......screams "Look at me! I'm a performance car!"

Ford Falcon or Holden Commodore VXr.

Might be made to compete in Aussie Supercars... hence looking like them.
