Exclamation 02 WRX Upper Radiator Hose Coolant Leak!

I've smelled coolant while running the air (heat) lately so I took a good look around the radiator due to all the post I've seen about 02 radiators failing at the seams where the plastic meets metal. Turns out my upper radiator hose has been leaking coolant from both sides of the hose. Have green crud on the upper radiator inlet and on the engine coolant outlet. This has probably happened over the last few months during the worse cold this winter. Ordered a new hose and a new radiator cap just in case. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Could it be that the high temps in the engine compartment are going to take their toll on all the rubber hoses prematurely?

I just had my rad replaced. Luciky I got in in just before the warrantee ended. The tanks were leaking. I wonder if you might have the same problem. The new rad is a bit different from the original. It has a cap on it. The original didn't so there may have been an upgrade done.

i picked my car up from the dealer about 5 days ago and went to put a new battery in it....noticed a little coolant leaking across the top of my radiator and saw that my coolant level was about an inch and a half over full. i've never added coolant so it must have been the dealer. now, 5 days later, i have coolant frickin everywhere in my engine bay and a puddle on top of my radiator. i've checked the hoses and everything is securely clamped and there's no signs of holes. it looks to be actually coming out of the radiator itself. any ideas? is this a common problem? and which warranty would this be covered under? i just turned 42k yesterday.
