I'm thinking pretty hard about it, but I'll only be there for a day and drive back to my house at the end of it.

I'll be there but I haven't decided yet about sleeping arrangements. I'll let you know tomorrow-ish.

They are booked and looking for more instructors. There is a waiting list right now. Hopefully some of the instructors come over from Car guys since they cancelled. If you can instruct....pretty please, can you show up so some of us on the wait list can go

What time is everyone arriving. I'm coming up from HR alone and it would nice to paddock with some NASIOC people.

I'm finding out now if I can get into TT. I was going to race the STi but I found that my 355mm rotor was cracked on the inside during inspection and don't want to spend the $150 to Next Day Air the rotors.

I'll instead be there in my "Street" class 08 WRX. I actually really enjoy driving this car so I'm looking forward to this weekend.

See you guys there (hopefully).

Who was in the S2000 that went straight off at Turn 1 and into the wall w/o braking this weekend?

Hit the only part of the wall w/o tires on it too.

No cage, no HANS, just race seat + harness + helmet.

Air lifted out, unconscious, but breathing?

Summit.

There are no pics. Track was closed down immediately, and car taken out the back way and locked away into a garage.

They did close after that. HPDE 1 was next and people started lining up in the grid, then they sent them back. Soon after that the announcement came that it was over. Since the driver was an instructor, I'm guessing there was some sort of mechanical failure?

Some of you were lucky enough to know Cale. His girlfriend and parents have asked that his driving buddies know that Cale was severely injured yesterday during the second time trial session at Summit Point Raceway. He's suffered many internal injuries but the most severe was a serious brain injury similar to what happened to Dale Earnhardt. His current status is no brain activity and the recommendation of removal of life support. Please keep Cale and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

God Bless you Cale.
