I don't know about numbers, but that prodrive muffler will start to be a limitation on a 2.5.

Sounds like a pretty sweet setup. What kind of numbers are your expecting and if you don't mind could you give a ballpark of what you spent on just parts? If not its okay.

Well im guessing around 320 - 340 WHP. of course depending on what dyno it is on.

Engine install and Port & Polish Heads and port match exaust and intake. 2200

Axis stg3 engine: 3400

Bolt ons and stuff: 2800

total: 8400

Damn... never added it up. another day, another dollar. I never expedted it to be this much. I guess every little part counts. Especially since I baught the parts over a 6 week period it does not seem like I spent that. Wife gonna kill me!

Gonna be a sweet ride tho!

The day before I saw smoke come from engine bay i got a full set of 5zigen Super6 18" Rims. MADE ME SOOO MAD!

if you spent that much i would ditch the vf22 and go with a FP Green.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...5&pagenumber=1

maybe even something bigger

I dont see a VF22 flowing enough exhaust on a 2.5 for 340whp. I see 320.

whats the differance between an axis 2.5 vs. a USDM STi 2.5? Im guessing forged pistons on your axis block...? IS your axis block closed deck?

nice setup. You have a sweet foundation with your built axis stg 3. THat thing can support huge amounts of boost from a big turbo. Your definately limiting yourself with the vf22 and tje exhaust setup (dp and muffler). It'll provide loads of power nonetheless, but i wanna see you uncork that sucker with 25+ lbs of boost with a fp green . My guess is around a conservative 300+whp

Stock cams? or 2.5 STi cams?

~300 to 320whp on pump... peak around 6000 rpm stock wrx cam. 6500 sti cam.

I put down the same numbers with a prodrive and cat as another Sti with a full 3" catless exhaust. The prodrive is not a huge limitation on the 2.5.

That axis motor sounds like it will be way too much for a vf22... I definitely think you better start saving for a nice big snail to go w/ that setup. Sounds like it will be quite a beast when everything is put together and tuned. Good luck!
