Looks damn good man, the cuts in the bumper are some of the cleanest I've seen in a long time.

I agree ^ I'm currently trying to figure out if your workmanship or photography skills are better! When I'm ready I might just have to have you cut the bumper lol looks perfect enough to be stock

That looks incredible!

And that video looks familiar haha.

Edit: How's the drone on the Q300? I've heard it has a lot and then I've heard the opposite. My CNT drones quite a bit and makes my interior rattle like crazy, and i'm considering switching. I'm also running an Invidia catted dp.

It's actually called tapturn.

It's a small company in Canada that I decided to give a shot. The module replaces the standard flasher and gives you:

1 touch blinker
Directional parking lights
Entry and exit lighting
Strobe hazards
Wig-wag hazards
Strobed turn signals
Slow wigwag

All programmable on the fly
It's awesome, but it's $100
How's this working out for you? I think I'm ready so long as you approve

Why must you convince me!? lol. Looks great man!

Perrin would be my choice if I went with a FMIC. How does it perform over the Process West TMIC (I have the same one)? Spool the same? If you could post datalogs from the before and after, that would be great. Only if possible, of course!

Haha I figured you may have gotten a bit of inspiration from my video. Yours looked a lot better doing it though haha.

Could you comment on the edit that I made on my quote?

Thanks!

Sure thing man,
Unfortunately I don't have any experience with other exhausts but the Q300. I love everything about it BUT the drone. It's there and it's loud. At 65 on the highway going uphill is almost deafening.

Assuming the same with the CNT?

Its not THAT horrible. I did have an N1 exhaust before and that droned wayyyy worse. It's just getting a little tiresome because of how boomy it is.

I wish I could have the volume without all the bass in the cabin. I'm going to look into sound deadening.

Are you going to use a plate relocator? I've thought of shaving my bumper since I have everything I need to do it easily, but I know it's illegal in Maine to not have a front plate..

Most likely very similar to each other but I've heard that sound deadening will help a little bit. The added weight always turned me off to the idea but I don't drive on the highway very often anymore so it doesn't bother me as much as it used to.

I've also never sat in the back seat of my car while it's on the highway but my wife said it's even worse back there. Oh well, lol

Nope, haven't ran a plate on any of my cars in over 18 years. I put it on one day a year to get inspected and then take it right off, lol

Reminds me of this:

I also have a perrin fmic and love it. But I left the little black piece above. Seeing yours makes me want to trim it though. What did you use to cut the bumper? Your cuts look so smooth.

Decided to make an extra set of these Snow Camo shift and handbrake boots for my own car. Just a little something different to stare at for a while. Thoughts?

Looks cool, but doesn't really go with your interiors theme. What do you use to clean the alcantara? My red boot is starting to collect a little bit of dust.

Yeah, it really doesn't at all, lol

For cleaning dust you can use a microfiber cloth dry. For grime you can use warm water on the microfiber and dab the dirty spot. Bad stains you can steam clean.
