The correct alignment will have the greatest affect over how soft or firm the stearing feels. Id get a real alignment done first (no not at joes tires).

You may want to look at a Cusco lower arm brace. Firms up chassis and steering nicely.

It depends on your driving conditions. Personally I wouldnt follow most of the recomendations on the club unless the person really competes (not just an ocasional weekend autocross). A real alignment shop intended for performance should conduct and "interview" and determine the most likely best specs.

Personally? I have a legacy and my most recent alignment (in short) was

-1.3 camber front
0.01 toe front
2.1 caster
-0.3 camber rear
0.01 toe rear
all but 2 (within 1/100 of a degree) spec was perfect side to side match and a perfect 0 thrush angle.

This made as much difference or possible more than when I switched from 185 70 14 wal mart tires to 205 50 16 kuhmo's

Default Well..

I didnt have it done yet BUT
I am planning on getting as close as possible to 1 1/2 deg negatice camber front like 1 deg neg rear, no toe in/out
Unless someone can give me a good reason not to
I had a VW fox that I had set up pretty well, I ran
2deg negative camber front
1 deg toe out front
factory rear settings
I realize that isnt MUCH help but hey its a free bump anyway
