Default Is This A New Baby Lexus Test Mule Caught in Testing?

We all have heard the rumours that a mini Lexus/Prius was on its way.

Actually not such a bad idea if you think about it, but is THIS a Lexus test mule caught cruising the streets of Southern California?

Note the quad exhausts, custom rims, and the Lexus logo on the trunk all dead giveaways or just a want a be wishing he had the real deal.

Most of the time people see mules and comment that they are riced out regular vehicles, which drives me crazy. I remember photos of the the Evo X drivetrain mules that had Evo IX bodies on them, and a bunch of people on this site were moaning because they thought it was a riced out IX...

That being said, I really think this is an example of an over-zeleous owner, not a development mule. If it was a Lexus mule, they would NOT have badged it a Lexus, they usually try to hide what the car realy is, and taking the time to rebadge a Prius does not follow that formula.

In my opinion it is just a Prius with a lame owner...

The Lexus dedicated hybrid isn't going to be a rebadged Prius. The LF-X I believe is the concept behind it.

I've seen this car or a car very similar to it on the streets. This is no way any kind of mule just some guy ricing out his Prius. I think there was a picture of it in the rice thread.

Well, if it was going 110, I'd say definitely. And I'm sure its been said before, but I can't believe how retardedly spirited people drive that car. Jackrabbit starts, and 85+ on the freeway.

Seriously. Either driving their smugmobile at 60 in the fast lane refusing to move, or driving it in such a way that negates the whole point of the car. If you're always late or gunning it everywhere you go, you will never get better mileage. I hate how they can drive in the carpool lane.

even driven "wrong" those priuses are probably getting better mileage than the other cars out on the road with it.
