Because it is still relatively new. They may go lower but they probably put 20 grand just to set a base price. Say you want to sell a candy bar for 1$ but you put 1.50 so you can bargain better. If I put the asking price as 1$ someone may come along and offer me 70 cents.

Subaru also has the highest predicted residual value in the INDUSTRY, so when cars roll off the lot, they don't lose nearly as much value as other cars would. 20 still seems a bit high, but not completely off the mark.

What NA said, but thank you!! Some of my buddies thought I was crazy going out of my way to try and find a set of those wheels instead of just getting aftermarket wheels, but I'm really happy I went through the trouble to find them. Also, I thought it was neat that the '14 WRX Mule we got test shots of this summer had these wheels on the modified 4th Gen Impreza they were using for the base.

word...you just spoke from my heart.

I list things on craigslist and I specifically wrote NOT NEGOTIABLE, PRICE FIRM, BARGAINS WILL BE IGNORED

And these low balling trash bags always emails me and low balls me.

Then I just got fed up and raised the price higher so they can bargain and I still sell it just as the price never went down...human beings in general are just cheap and greedy, you give them a hand, they want the whole arm.

Snagged my sport premium with extras for $21,500 plus $300 dealer fees. Had one dealer agree to $21000, but they "couldn't locate one." Just saw a 2012 sport limited on Craigslist for $22k with 15,000mi.

The dealer doesn't drill those holes, they're there from the factory, that's why the inside of the holes have paint in them. If the dealer drilled them they would be bare plastic inside the holes and likely have rough edges. Look at a stock photo on subaru's website and you'll see the same holes.

My dealer drilled holes so that now there are 2 sets of holes. I think the ones from the factory dont match up with US plates so the dealers are drilling holes into the bumpers.

I was upset about this but at least you cant see the holes with the plate on.

No they don't because they line up with the front plate mounting kit that dealers are supposed to install in states that require a front plate! I would make the dealer fill them and re-paint the bumper if they drilled new holes and front plates aren't required in your state!
