Default Mach V Octoberfest Dyno Day and Meet 10/1/11

What: Mach V Octoberfest Dyno Day and Meet

When: 10/1/11, 10am to 4pm

Where: 45690 Elmwood Ct Suite 170
Sterling, VA 20166

Details:

If you haven't seen us advertise this before, dyno day offers the chance to get a baseline or updated dyno numbers on your car for a smaller fee than on normal workdays. Slots are 40 minutes, which is usually enough for 3-4 pulls. (Actually more, if you want...) It's a great social educational event, too, as lots of people come to watch and compare notes. Feel free to stop in and hang out even if you're not dyno-ing. Rate info is in our Mid-A vendor thread.

If you're dyno-ing your car, you'll get a paper graph to take with you, and we can also email you your dyno data files, so you can store/analyze/post your results to your heart's content. (We don't put them on USB drives any more because of the risk of contracting a virus...)

Same here but still would like to go. My first big Subaru meet was a dyno day at Mach V in 2006 (stock WRX, 183hp) and they are always fun to attend.

I think I'm actually free that day. I will try to come by and spectate... and buy some toys I've had my eye on.

Beyond that, I don't know which model. Sorry.

Two slots left.

You don't push it very hard on the street then do you, lol. I prolly drive mine harder on the street than they do on the Dyno. I'm not scurred
I know my car doesn't have that much power. I'm just interested to see how the whp compares to the claimed crank HP from my tune.

It was a big day, with a mess of cars on the dyno. The Ariel Atom didn't show, perhaps because it was pouring rain. We did have a 400 whp Lexus IS-F, two more Lexi that made a little less than that, plus a bunch of Subarus, and a Camaro. There were quite a few spectators throughout the day, too.

Videos to come, as soon as I compile everything.

Here is a cross post from the Lexus forums.

It was amazing to see how a header and exhaust as the only mods, netted 40whp on an ISF. No tuning, no intake, stock filter, only header and exhaust. Just crazy!

Thanks for the good time Dan!

Bah, I totally forgot about this! Oh well, it was miserable outside anyway. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
