shes gonna need a 6 speed, so thats a future project. just bought stock wrx heads for that motor though.just gonna put stock valve train with sti cams in that. im at least gonna get the motor together and installed. they have zephyr do the harness. then think about 6 speed rear diff, turbo and such. i have a front mount for it already as well...im liking the vf43 on e85 for this car.

i'll join you in street mod in the bugsti anytime! hopefeully oct 15th at etown!

i really wanna race in that event.

dial the car to 11.500000.
I'm talkin' autox, fool. I know better than to drag race with a small turbo.

just going up to a gtx30 will bump you 50-60whp.....you read here enough to know that your reliability is going down the crapper the bigger you go.
So...gt3076r = 400whp
Gt35r = 500whp
Gtx30r= waiting on your results...
Gtx35r= 600whp?

Your right ron. I dont think I can afford to maintain a car above 500whp.
That more than enough. I think 450whp will plenty.

Plus I like full spool by 4200.

So what did your new turbo yeild?

just use the flowrates...

GT30r = 52 lbm = 520 chp = 420 whp
GT35r = 65 lbm = 650 chp = 520 whp
GTX30r= 65 lbm = 650 chp = 520 whp
GTX35r= 75 lbm = 750 chp = 600 whp

I havent had time to do any tuning yet.

f stock location.

whats the update on your gtx30r ron?

start with what are the spec on the turbo, and run down the drivetrain for posterity.

oh and hook karl up with that dom4, i need some competition out here! karls credit is better than mine, no?

truth be told though karls/your motor with an hta68 and e85 will still be awesome. if i miss a gear it'll still be close!

the 2.1 you sent karl has stock 2.0 heads? run down what you know about the 2.1 you sent as well...

maybe we should bolt karls heads on your block...oh wait thats a loaner...lol.

I dont mean to question you Ron but I thought my 3076 with a .82 a/r flowed 56lb/min?

Regardless I absolutely love the drive ability of my rotated 30r setup, I made peak power at 3200rpm's and held to 7 strong. Now with my heads being ported in addition to the cosworth cams I have been running I hope I can hold power to 7500+.

I dont want that much more power and have really been debating on doing a GTX30r when the time comes. However I feel that I need my car running on the road for longer then a 6 month period in order to justify dumping more money into making more power.

Jake I get my **** box back on tuesday, I plan on making it to sports authority and philly tuesday night. Go see Binh at Lukoil so he buys your honda and you have more money to finish the rs or the motor for the rex!

the purpose of my beater is for what i am currently using it for. while my wrx is apart.

its just bad timing.

i thought the gt3076r was a 52#. not sure why you thought otherwise.

looking forward to seeing, drooling on and actually driving in laguna!

truth is the 3076 is good for 380-400whp on 93...400-450? on e85/c16. thats good and all but i think i will be satisfied at 450whp. if a gtx30r is required than so be it. there may be other bolt on that can help out getting to 450wheel without changing the turbo.

like my warped flanged borla header, some heat wrap, stand alone...oh and e85...

what the huh are you talking about? marijuana helps me use 110% of my brain.

i dont know if my cars safe. the remaining mice probally formed up a posse and are sharpening their teeth up as i type. i bet they are avenging the death of their family members and are making nests out of ecu harnesses. told ya, if you see three, there are 30.

bring me back a couple extra lizards so i can run them through some ninja training to eat the ants and kick some mouse ass.

you are a ruthless killa by the way.

Dont worry jr, it was a F'ing mess at Etown last night....I went down with george and cleo and he didnt even get to run because they was testing and tuning for some event today and almost every other run a car oiled down THE WHOLE 1/4 and the clean-ups took forever. We did get to see some 6 sec. rotary's and a spanish rapper named Don Omar tho lol

LMAO.. yea I called.. when they told me the event name, I kindly declined. I was ready to run it with no alignment and all

Yea, Omar was down there with his Celica. It is actually pretty fast, high 6s. He drives it too. Other reason I didn't want to go, to crowded!
