You will need to run a spacer. I believe 10 mm is required.

Everyone is referencing 2008 - 2014 STi Brembo calipers. I am wondering if the 2008 Brembo brakes calipers are the same as 2015? The reason why I'm asking is that I saw wheels that fit an 2008 STi running stock 2008 Brembo brakes. I would like to get the same wheels. I heard that the rotors are bigger but only slightly. Is the calipers bigger or is it the same with bigger rotors for the 2015 from the 2008?

How come no one reference the 2008 - 2015 instead of 2008 - 2014 for Brembo brakes?

Also, sorry if I thread jack, I didn't mean to. I saw this when researching if the 2015 STi Brembo brakes are the same as 2008 Brembo brakes.

2004-2015 front Brembo - same aside from color and 2004 = 5 x 100 rotors

2004-2007 rear - same (see note above)

2008-2015 rear - same

^---Thanks! So basically the 2008 and the 2015 STi Brembo brakes are the same with just the 2015 having bigger rotors. Perfect!

Hate to revive an old thread, but just as an FYI I put a set of brembos on my 15 last night and the factory optional "STI alloy wheel set" clears them without a spacer.

This may also help STI owners looking for an OEM looking 17" for a winter setup.

Would 05-07 BBS STI 17" clear the brembo on 2015+ WRX?

It may work, but I think a u'll actually need a 15mm, people have fit Brembos under the stock wheels. In addition, if you're running anything lower than a 15mm spacer, u'll need extended wheel studs. This I am trying to research right now cause my current wheels, Advan RG-D 18x9 +45, will not clear Brembos without at least a 3-5mm spacer. A 3-5mm spacer on stock wheel studs will not give u a secured lock.

Anyone have insight?

Curious to know as I will be attempting my first swap next week. Do we have a similar issue with the rear ebrake as previous gens? Do we really have to disassemble it?

Gracias amigo! And thanks for all the parts I ordered from you guys. Just completed my swap but I think I screwed up on the bleeding. Takes 3 pumps to really engage. Used a Mityvac 1 man job tool and it was no bueno. Going to use a 2 person buddy system next.

Maybe I haven't looked hard enough or it's an odd question but does the hill assist still work with the brembo swap for 2015+ wrx? I just want to make sure all the functions still work after performing the swap.

The premium wheels are off of the GR STI, so yes, obviously they fit.
