Pressurizing your intake manifold and engine isn't a problem at all. Factory service manuals suggest it as a way to find vacuum leaks.

Like they said above- take off your oil cap. That will relieve any pressure that leaks into the crankcase.
If you can't get the boost gauge to read any pressure the engine may be in valve overlap position, meaning both the intake and exhaust valves are open. If that happens, just crank over the engine a little and the exhaust valves will close.

what an exciting day. vince comes through with a bosch o2 sensor, and the car loves it.

ray comes through with an amazing E tuning session, and i remembered why i have devoted so much of my life to this car. its called BOOST!

we are close to finishing the tune and i hope to get to ATCO real soon.

data logs and videos will be in the new thread.

i wanna thank my best friend and life long partner, michelle for making all of this possible for me. she doesnt come on here but it should be said, i would have never gotten this far without her help.

lug fixed and overflow tank replaced. apparently the high tank on the 02 wrx can split the seam at the filler neck. mine was slightly leaking...replaced it with plastic.

just did some 2800-7000rpm pulls in 3rd and 4th @ 17psi.

adrenaline....

new perrin cai filer going on next.

find power source for oil pressure gauge...

You can clean the filter ya know. just go to napa and get k&n filter cleaner kit its like ten bucks. I just did the sti filter last week.
