All the stock badges are a little too much I believe. If I had a sport I would leave that badge.
Yeah, I left the "Sport" badge on. Debadging was one of the first things I did. They put way too many badges on there. Used a hair dryer and fishing line, but my car was so new that the badges came off easily and used Goo Gone to clean off the small amount of glue left on the car.

My girlfriend left her hairdryer out for me, I'm planning to de-badge it this afternoon.
The Impreza had too much crap on the ass end, the XV is just over the top with the crap.
I'm just really hoping the dealer decal (in white!) comes off without too much drama..

Fwiw- the hairdryer worked okay... and its completely de-badged.
I found spitting on the adhesive that remained and using a microfiber towel got it off easily.
Took a little longer than I expected till I discovered that trick.
About an hour and a half including cleanup and a heavy waxing where the crap was.

This morning with dew all over the car, I could see the lettering still. Not visible once the car dried up.
Guess I will buff it, still- looks so much better!

I debadged my '13 DGM sport limited the third day I had it. Hairdryer and some floss (but fishing line would probably work better- floss kept tearing), and a little patience. I didn't even need the goo gone till the very end to wipe off the remaining stickiness. The next day my other half decided to mow the lawn and covered my car in dust, which stuck to where the badges had been but after one wash with Meguiars I haven't seen any dust stick to it again. I took them all off, way too many badges!!

I debadged the rear of my Sport the other day. It looks way cleaner and less cluttered. The back of the car just looks better now.. Do it. The emblems themselves came off easily with the floss, but the under-sticky was another story. Some was easy, some was a disaster. The goo under the Sport badge was the worst.

I debadged my '13 DGM 5Dr this weekend as well. 8 days into ownership and <500 miles, the badges came off by hand and I just peeled off any residual goo. So much cleaner and easier to wax!
