Default 65mph vibrations 2013 wrx hatch

I know there are a ton of threads but none of them have people posting that they solved the problem.. When I get up to about 65 mph, I start getting a shaking/vibrating feeling in my seat and steering wheel. I don't hear or feel anything down below this speed at all. I went to discount tire and they have balanced the wheels on their regular balancing machine along with adding some hub centric rings. It has gotten a little bit better but not a ton. It all started after I picked up a new set of wheels. I went from 17x9.75 to 18x9.5. Car has 57k miles. The car is on tein street basis coils. Like I said, before these new wheels and tires, I didn't really feel it. Suggestions?

Road force the wheels. I bet either a wheel or tire is out of round. This should fix the problem 100%. Good luck, bro.

Went and got road force done but the vibrations are still there. They said they couldn't find any cracks or bends in the wheels and tires looked fine. I'm going to go absolutely insane what are my other options

Like I said remove rings and put oem type of wheels back on and I bet that will solve your problem.

Just had an issue similar to this, shake started at 70 and got unbareable towards 100, balanced the tires didn't help, got some new ones and a sports oriented alignment and it fixed the issue 120mph tested and 0 vibration. Also check your CV joints but if their OEM I doubt they'll cause it

I haven't gotten an alignment since I got the tires. I'm thinking that I need to.

Usually off specs wouldn't really cause a shake but a bolt may have came loose or a ball joint could be getting worn. They'll be able to tell if you take it in. Or throw one side of your car up on a jack, take the tire at 12 and 6 and shake, then 3 and 9 and shake, and if their is any clunky unusual movement either a tie rod, ball joint or bushing is loose

Vibration in the steering wheel is front tires/wheels, vibration in the seat is rear tires/wheels. A defective tire (broken belt) will cause a vibration but to have that in all 4 would be one hell of a coincidence. Assuming the wheels are not all bent that should rule that out. My bet is still something in the balancing is incorrect or something is up with the rings they installed or maybe the weights fell off. I'd take it to the dealer and have them do the road force balancing. It will probably cost more than discount tire but at least you'll have an experienced technician do the work and drive it when it's done.
