Uncle scotty has a point, using the search function and cntrl+f works magic! No need to repeat the same thing 500,000 times...

The only thing that's got me is I searched, ya you got me, I didn't scour the Internet, but isn't it simpler and less aggravating to just answer a simple question one more time than to get into a page long fight about it?

Ya but that is taken on a case by case basis... Depends on the question... Like yours was clearly answers in the very first post where it says in capital letters " this is only for the 5 spd transmission".... So I feel like it should only be used in the 5spd transmission.. rear differential is completely different component and should use the recommended fluid. Which a quick search on Google could also answer that question in 2 mins...

It does. It's called 75w90 gear oil. But you'd know that if you lifted a finger for yourself.

Ya I guess you're right. I just figured dif operates basically the same as transmission, helical cut gears meshing and whatnot, maybe someone has used it in the dif and had results. Found no results arguing either way on google

So the shockproof that's part of this mix, that can be rated at 75w250, that's fine right?

mate he's saying to search so that 500,000 other people don't chime in with the same "spoon feed me" type comments.

if you didn't want to be reamed out for asking to be spoon-fed, you need to qualify your statement with something like "yes i've searched for this and i can't find the answer so can someone please let me know XYZ".

many people don't. the mods literally daily need to lock a "will XYZ wheels fit my car" thread in the wheel & tyre section, when there is a wheel fitment thread stickied, at the top of the forum. it gets old after a while.

I appreciate your input, but at this point he really is just being an Internet tough guy

He's been shouting down anybody who disagrees for years now, literally. Somehow he's tolerated by the admin here.

Funny thing is, that here he is a total dick to everyone, but he joined up on one of the other forums and he tries to be all chill and such. I wanna say that he does ask about things there that are available by searching too.
