It would really be nice to see how long the motor can take that power..Every one I talk to about them says our blocks are only good for about 300-350whp an within a couple of months of good driving something goes. I'm afraid of going beyond 300whp in fear of spinning a bearing or throwing a rod...Please keep us posted.

I had 407whp, with a 30R on a stock 205 but that was only 24psi. I know someone else claimed to have made 433whp but they never produced a chart.
I went 11.8 on my setup the one time it went to the track, then we moved on to bigger and better things. Congrats guys those are huge numbers. I know someone is going to ask so I might as well be the one, how do those dynopack numbers usally compare to the local dynojets, I know the one at SOG reads about 10% higher than the dynojet at Batlground. DAMN! Those numbers are insane. You're gonna have to give me a ride in that thing next time i'm up there. I bet it's a little more fun to drive now.

FWIW: I put down 314/314 on another local shops DynoJet roller dyno, then with the exact same tune put down 316/316 on this very same DynaPack hub dyno within a few weeks apart... Seems pretty consistent to me...

quite impressive for "low" octane. slap a good ADI setup on it and have a 400whp pump gas beast. i'm starting to think that vp import is actually better than c16 for this kind of work. |

5 gallon pail of C16 = 60 bucks. ($12/gallon)
5 gallon pail of Import= 116 bucks. ($23/gallon!!) From VP's site about Import: "Makes 5% more power than C16" This assumes that the turbo/combo can MAKE more power. Remember, power comes from the amount of air you can push in, not fuel. That said, 5% off of 477 = 454. So we are talking 23 hp, maybe. I bet the same boost could have been run on C16. I'll stick to C16. def |
