Got the new Hella Supertones installed, now lets see if they can hear me when they try and run me off the road or cut me off again. |

nice moises... sure people will be alarmed when they hear those go off.. and jon u really dont need to do much to them if they are decent brand they should be fine if you are worried about water you can always spray some wd-40 as it great at dispersing water but you will acquire more dirt because of the wd-40 so its kinda a catch22

At first I just wanted them, but ever since I almost got hit twice and ran off the road once in the past 2 weeks I feel that I need them.

I've got some I pulled off my '02 a few years ago I'll let go for cheap. They were only on the car for maybe 6 months. Includes the wiring I built for them, too. PM if interested.
(By cheap, I mean say ~half the cost of new, not $5. Just to avoid any confusion.) |

I started a thread on lgt.com a couple weeks ago asking for insight on comparing the ebay (knockoff) Hellatones to the real thing. I didn't get much. Anyone here have any experience, or heard anything about them?

holy crap i definitely haven't been on here in a while.....
There's nothing wrong with having a dislike for certain people on a forum, that happens. but that's no reason to bash the forum as a whole and drive members away..... How does that saying go... hate the player not the game. Last edited by Subaru_junkie; 09-11-2012 at 01:56 AM. |

ya but when you abuse the power by banning people just because you dont like them, especially when they havnt done anything that even merited a warning, and just ban them cause their "opinions arnt facts", their somehow splitting the forum into 2 groups and the fact youre flexible with what you charge people for doing work is not valid reasons to ban someone(and if someone goes to someone else cause they wanna save some money is how this world works)... you of all people know the treatment as the whole incident with the game night.. so dont come on here saying to stop the hate, and theres no reason to drive people away...there no secret circle here plotting to rob people away from isc we are just here finally able to express our annoyances and issues that if they had been discussed there would result in a ban...there dozens of people who are upset and sick of the bad attitude and harsh treatment...and this has been a issue form almost the beginning if you dont believe me talk to a former admin and ask him about how many people came to him at last years LM meet(and until he left) about the treatment.. im sure everyone would be more then happy to post all their issues but opinions arnt facts so we they better not or they may get banned as well Last edited by gmbart; 09-11-2012 at 09:56 AM. |

Never heard any knockoffs before. The real ones are damn loud and very directional. It helps a lot with people in front of you trying to creep over on you. I've heard of other snail type horns that can be very loud as well tho they are less directional.

These Stebel Nautilus Horns are LOUD. Different tone than the supertones, but they almost made my ears bleed. http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/prod...tipologia=auto

i had a great experience with the forum until i was banned for personal reasons.. and well i get about 3-4 guys off the forums dropping in for food and the one thing i hear the most is their aggravation with a certain member/admin.... im not making anyones mind up for them this is what i hear... bottom line is people will only put up with the bs until another path is opened up tot hem and well thats the directions things are looking like they are going |

being a mod automatically makes me a bad guy? Just because I'm a mod doesn't mean I share the same views as other admins. I think Bart's a nice guy and have no problems with him whatsoever. But if I did, Blimpies has good food that I enjoy. Just because I didn't like the owner, that wouldn't stop me from enjoying the food there. Same concept applies to the forum. Also, my car is my dd, not a racecar. Last edited by Subaru_junkie; 09-11-2012 at 04:32 PM. |
