Yeah kind of a bummer since I was really looking forward to the new venue. Beach closes at 9 or 10pm anyway, so you won't be out that late.

Down to roll!

I get off of work at 4, so I may be late. I'll bring some wood and possibly drinks. I can bring a few guests, right?

*UPDATE*
unfortunately we have to relocate due to an issue with permitting. Only 3 beaches in Malibu allow for bbq'ing and we have to get a permit for us to bbq. Unfortunately, for Aug 27th, those 3 beaches are "full", all permits have been issued, so we have to relocate.

Most likely, the new location will be at Bolsa Chica. Sorry for any inconvenience/issues this may have caused.
Why Bolsa...Why not Huntington...remember Bolsa has all those rocks and the dumb drop off...

you wont even be going in the water anywho. bigger fire pit, less hassle than huntington, parking is cheaper.

Ok... BBQ List is out! omnomnom!
  • Korean Spare Ribs
  • Chicken breast with:
  • Jamaican jerk sauce
  • teriyaki sauce
  • Sugerfire BBQ
  • and some sort of mild creamy ranch sauce
  • Pork Belly
  • Cajun corn

We (SocalF4) will be providing the listed bbq items. On the second post, i have suggested other possible items that anyone can bring. We hope that those who attend can either bring more suggested food items, donations, or both. We wont have a successful bbq if isnt for everyone else that contributes. Thanks again!!
