Default Quick question about the Helix DP

I did a quick search about the topic, and couldn't find the answer. I may not have looked too in-depth but I found that the majority (if not all) of aftermarket DPs use crush gaskets opposed to donut gaskets (stock). So my question is.. Will a Helix DP mate up with a stock cat-back exhaust? Will a crush gasket be necessary in this case? Will any mod need to be done to any of the flanges?

TIA

I used a Helix DP with the stock CB on my 03 WRX. I used the gasket that came with the DP. After a year the gasket burned and I had a leak. I bought a Crucial Racing Copper gasket and all has been fine since then, going on 3 or 4 years now.

As an update, I installed my Helix plate DP, and it mated up perfectly with the OEM CB. I had to get rid of spring bolts due to having a major leak. Some bolts, nuts, and thick ass washers later.. Leak is gone, and car is sounding amazing.. Waiting to get tuned this week :>

Thanks for the input everyone! I'm sure the ass-ness is only present to push me toward getting tuned, riiiight?
