Default jid2 Track Car - e85 ARMY

I've built this car over the last year and a half in my garage. Most of the parts are totally custom and designed, tested and fabricated by me. Everything from building the motor and tuning to the aero package.

In that same spirit I just finished some graphics for this next track season. I did all the work myself. Designed and generated the artwork, cut the vinyl, applied the vinyl, and then snapped some pictures in the garage with the ol' point and shoot.

Engine Bay.

Added the e85 stickers tonight - which kinda finished it off.

Here's what it looked like the day I got it, oh yeah there's a suby in the picture too.....

That is by far THE best looking engine I've ever seen. I'm really digging the theme. Kind of makes me want to do mine, haha. Good job on the build. Can't wait to see it on the track.

Glad you guys like it. The engine bay is what started the whole army theme about a year ago. My track wheels are NT03's that are olive drab as well, I'll add a picture of the car with them that's older. I just finished the wing, diffuser, and graphics in the last couple months.

The yellow wire is a thermocouple I use it for logging brake pad temps. I like datalogging.

Details on the car can be found at the link below, including video. There's a detailed build thread on EvoM, and I'm copying all the stuff over to my blog as well.

www.binaryeng.com

Most of the video is from early in the season last year when I was still fixing issues on the car non-stop. Pretty much wrenching after each session. Should be better this year.

I hit up PR and PIR, going to do Grass Valley as well since the access road got paved.
