We use Subaru's list for 30/60/90k service. The list can be found HERE but I believe the website is down currently.

I may be wrong, but as part of the service you offer for the '08 Sti, you take in the complete fuel pump assembly (including the plastic bucket), you modify the bucket and adapt a Walbro to it, then send that back to the '08 Sti owners.
If this is correct, you're left sometimes with '08 Sti "bare" fuel pumps. Would you like to sell one of those? |

I'm looking to use it in my 2002 WRX.
I'm not looking to start a big conversation about Walbro, about the formulas used to size up a pump, etc. These treads exist already on the forum. For my application, the 175 Liter/hour of the '08 Sti fuel pump sound like a good choice. If I have to adapt a bracket for the pump, then I'll do that. Unless you're saying that this pump does not fit, cannot be made to physically fit. In this case, please let me know, would be info useful for the community. If you have an '08 Sti fuel pump, "leftover" from a pump assembly swap, please PM with a price. I'm not interested in the LGT pump. |

I do not believe that you will be able to get the 08 STI / LGT style pump to fit in a 02-07. It will be too short to fit in the bracket.

Hey guys! I need a re-tune pretty bad for my 05 WRX. I am running pig rich and would be lucky to get 14-15 mpg right now. I backfire all the time! (seriously I backfire at like 3500 rpm) How do I set up an appointment with jorge? I have a Cobb AP v1. My original tune was done by Harman motive out of LA. Please let me know and when the best time to do this would be. Thank you.

I sent a PM, but never heard anything.
Can you provide a better pic of the P&L Hi flow intake for an '07 STI? I'm trying to figure out how that intake is better than an Injen/AEM/APS which is mounted in the fender. Give me a decent response so I can come get the P&L one for cheaper! Mike |

Just to give you guys some information.
Last night I've installed the '08 Sti fuel pump in my 2002 WRX. It fits. The differences are as follows: The metalic length of the pump is shorter for the 08 Sti. It makes no difference. The overall length is the same The diameter is the same The "sock" port is of a 0.2 mm smaller on the '08, or perhaps not slightly conical like on the 02. So the sock fits over its port, but I chose to make it tight over the port with some teflon tape. The pump is held in place at the top by a rubber hose on the '02 The rubber hose fits, is of sufficient length The metal clip that retains the sock in place fits The rubber saddle at the bottom of the pump bracket fits. Both pumps seem to have an "auxiliary intake" at the bottom and the saddle had a matching channel cut into its side. The 08 has the channel on the opposite side, so you should cut a channel into the saddle, using a knife. That's it, it works. Since Walbro pumps come with their own rubber saddle, you guys can make available the '08 STI rubber saddle with the pumps, so that no cutting will be necessary. |
