New wheel/tire package for my 08...what should I get?
Just sick of trying to do all the thinking myself...so I'm opening the question up to everyone. My car is dark grey metallic and I've had Rota g-forces on it already. I'm thinking I wanna stick with a dark wheel something under $150 a rim and under $100 a tire for summer performance tires. Have at it.

what size you looking for? You might be hard-pressed to find something for that cheap. hell, rotas are $225 per wheel.

This is the best I could do in a hurry from Tirerack. Right on budget.
Wheels: 17X7.5 Kazera KZ-K with red stripe/19.0 lbs. ($129 ea.) OK if you like Rota Attack style. Much heavier than the Attacks, though. Tires: 225 45R17 Kumho Ecsta XS. 23 lbs. Top-line Extreme Performance Summer tire. A couple of MX-5 Miata forum guys have driven these and RT-615s and say XS is easily better. I like the XS. ($121 ea.) Total tires + wheels: $1000. The Rota DPT in 18x8.5 +48 Matte Steel Grey or also the G-Force in 18x8.5 +48 Hyper Silver (not currently on your list) would be my personal recommendation. These colors look great on DGM and will make for a nice clean/classy look.
Here are examples of both wheel for those that want to give photoshop a try DPT 18x8.5 Matte Steel Grey G-Force 18x8.5 Hyper Silver -Dan |

haha yeah I'm really leaning towards those matte steel grey DPT....but Flat Black is so tempting...wish wheeldude had the tirerack style view wheels on car setup.
